As far as label tape goes this is been the best and most reliable. It used to come in colors,b ut looks like the mfgr has discontinued them. This seems all that is left of the product line. I use it a lot and have not found a suitable substitute. I use it it label three prong file folders (which also seem to gone away, at least the good one have), sometimes as sticky notes, labels for gear (even though they don't stick well to rip stop; no matter to me they work well enough until something better comes along). The don't stick well to plastic pill bottles, so I just paste over the label; it does just fine; same with glass spice jars. The convenience for me is I am not obliged to one size, I cut a strip just large enough for the label I want for the job. the roll lasts a long time. It takes different inks with no bleed through. Does not tear the paper when I need to swap the label for another one. All I wish is that Post-it would bring back the color rolls of tape. I was using them to color code what I labeled. The other thing it needs is a refillable dispenser; I've been looking but have not found anything suitable. Despite these observations it is still a good product. in the mean time, I guess I'll have to hoard it.

I bought this to label plastic bins in my classroom. The bins are a part of a storage cabinet, so I didn't want to use Sharpie and permanently mark up the brand new furniture. I used this label tape instead and the next day all the labels were un-sticking to the plastic.

Using as food labels: survived the fridge and freezer without any problems. However, they didn’t survive the microwave! That’s ok though. The next time I peeled the label off before microwaving my food and simply reattached it when I threw the container back in the fridge. I’m hooked on this form of Sticky Notes!

I don't know why I had no idea this existed before this year but I happened upon it just as I was beginning my insane holiday baking binge, and I got it with the intention of using it to label everything as I went. It worked amazingly well for that - it's easy to write on, it adheres well but removes very easily. One label even held up well after the dish got washed and my husband forgot to remove it. It adhered well to everything I used it for, except parchment/wax paper, as is to be expected. I keep this in the kitchen now, and we've already begun using it to label leftovers with names and dates. I'm really happy to have found such a small, simple thing that boosts quality of life so much!
