UPDATE 3-Nov-2015: Left arrow key is non-functional. Will have to check and see what is the matter with it. Also, zero key on numeric pad sticks and some keys also stick, but this should be fixed once I remove all the keys and clean the keyboard. Hopefully, that will fix the non-functional left arrow key. But for a used keyboard, this is OK.

That said. Man used keyboards are disgusting.
Even this unit that looked nice and clean, once you popped those keycaps off. Gross. Someone had pets. Pets that shedded.
However, twenty minutes with some latex gloves, and 91% Iso Alcohol, popped off all the keycaps, de-grossed them, pulled out all the hair clumps, and it's a darn good condition keyboard.
Not quite mechanical in feel, but certainly the best membrane keyboard I've used in a long time.
I'm considering popping the caps back off and doing a very light coating of silicone grease (haven't really researched it), but I bet it'll make the keys a little more fluid.
Mine was in regular shape, but very, very nasty. I read somewhere that there are more germs and bacteria on keyboards that on a toilet itself. Therefore, my first task was to disassemble the keyboard wearing latex gloves and o clean and disinfect each and every key. The keys are easy to remove, by applying pressure at the bottom with a flat screwdriver. They have clips that easily allow you to replace the keys you removed by applying pressure. There are visual guides on youtube and google on how to disassemble the keyboard.
After about 1.5 hours of work, my keyboard looked much better, and I had complete confidence to start using it.
As other people stated, this keyboard's repeat rate is kinda slow, even after adjusting it on the System Preferences keyboard section.
It's definitely not a "clicky" keyboard, for those old fashioned users who enjoy the noise.
It's also not meant for fast typists. But the design is very beautiful, and it's very comfortable to use, once you get used to it.
I especially like the fact that it's on the heavy side, meaning it doesn't slide or move when I am typing fast or playing first person shooter games.
All in all, a good product, that does require some maintenance if you want to keep it looking clean.
If you are a nostalgia buff, and you want to have a solid desktop keyboard that looks great, buy one today, before they are gone for good!!
Apple has released several keyboards, including the ones Steve Jobs hated.
This keyboard is from an earlier era and its past its prime, but its universally supported up and down the timeline as far as I can see.
It will work with a PC, the Apple and Ctrl keys are swapped on a PC.. but you get used to it.. or windows has always had a switch to automatically do it in settings.
I prefer to use this however with an Apple Mac Mini 2011.
The keys are not Alps or Cherry MX, they are "soft" and quiet but I think that's the point. They are ergonomically and artistically if not esthetically shaped and arranged. There are are two USB ports on top of the front facing edge, accessible, but pointing away from the user almost as if to hide any cable or USB device you might plug into it.
The white cable is a little on the short side compared to most keyboards, so plan accordingly.
