Nice strong cumin smell and taste. The lid isn't my favorite since I prefer eyeballing/sprinkling to season, but I suppose having a bigger hole side is beneficial when you're sticking measuring spoons inside. And when the container is full, you can't really sprinkle or shake up and down and get much.But these are minor complaints. I got a great amount at a great unit price & value!!

I more often than not tend to go with McCormick or McCormick Culinary spices due to freshness and quality. This McCormick Ground Cumin is no exception to that. Opening the seal, I was hit with the bold and wonderful smell of ground cumin. The product has really nice full flavor, also. I use a lot of cumin and always buy the larger sized containers. This McCormick Cumin is a great value in the 14oz container size.
