A Pretty Good Album, Better Than Some People May Remember

I haven't heard this album since I switched from vinyl to CD's in 1987. Is it the greatest Rolling Stones album ever made? Of course not. But, it is a fascinating look at their heads in 1967. Honestly, I greatly enjoy listening to these sounds. Brian Jones was still very involved in their sounds and production, and it is evident on this CD. Yes, it is a psychedelic extravaganza. But, there are jewels. I particularly like Bill Wyman's In Another Land, and the brilliant She Comes In Colors. To me, the many varying sounds involved in the music are fascinating. I was a college sophomore when this album was released. I remember hearing it in the dorm rooms, and enjoying it at the time. By the way, I'd listen to it today before I'd listen to some of their albums released in the 1990's. Yes, that's right.

this is the most unusual stones album ever. it did not get the credit it deserved. this is brian jones psychedelic classic. one of the best album covers ever.
