This is a must for the Pearl Jam fan... a live, acoustic bootleg from Japan. It doesn't quite have the hype of an electric show, but that's the key to this record. It's a slower record, but you can still feel yourself there with the fans, see the lower glowing lights, see Eddie with the acoustic guitar, the guys playing Man Of The Hour or one of the other songs. They're not all slow though.. there are unplugged versions of Lukin, covers of The Ramones I Believe In Miracles, Bob Dylan's Masters of War, and Johnny Cash's 25 Minutes to Go. It is a slower album, an unplugged album., but a very good album nonetheless. Definitely an album for the real fans of Pearl Jam, and definitely for this fan of PJ since the beginning in 91.

Ohh dear this album is simply so great that I find it difficult to understand that I first got my hands on it in 2006. It contains everything good about Pearl Jam, great lyrics, talented music, high energy and powerfull rock ballads. This album is mostly unplugged and the depth of the band really shows on songs like: "Fatal", "Immortality", and "Off He Goes". The semi electric songs are arguably even better. The versions of "Daughter", "Black", "Crazy Mary", "Nothing As It Seems" and "All Or None" are each easily worth the prize of the album by them self.

A parade of great instrumental and electric songs - I wished I had been there at the concert because it must have been a night to remember.

This is one of the most underrated albums. Critics were lukewarm about it. I personally love this album...it is among my favorites. This is Pearl Jam at their best. They are older, and more mature musically, and a bit more quiet and subtle. The whole show just feels intimate. Vedder's wild energy is much more contained, but still quietly powerful. This performance of Thumbing my Way is one of my favorites.

You won't do wrong adding this album to your collection.

There are some great, full reviews of this cd already so I'll keep my comments brief.
I'm sure every Pearl Jam fan is aware that they have released many concert cds. What makes this one special for me is the intimacy of the setting. Benaroya Hall is a small venue and the acoustics are outstanding. Eddie's vocals are just terrific, full of warmth and expression. Many of the songs are acoustic and most of the selections showcase Pearl Jam's softer, more introspective side. Even so, the songs cover a wide range of moods, moving from the lovely and wistful "Thumbing my way" to the powerful, angry cover version of Dylan's "Masters of War." Although a lot of my favorite PJ songs are not on this cd, in a way that is even a plus as it got me listening to some lesser known (but still great) songs. This performance was actually a benefit concert for an organization that helps at-risk kids in the Seattle area. I don't know if any of the money from sales of this cd go to that organization or not, but if it does, that would be just one more reason to buy this great, highly enjoyable cd.

By far the best PJ live CD. Just buy the damn thing. You know you want it. Yeah it is a little more expensive than the other live CDs but there is a reason for that.

This item was everything that I had hoped it would be. I am so pleased with the overall condition of the CD. It is everything that the seller advertised it to be. Thank you!

I love this album. I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan and this is my favorite. The acoustic setting and set-list really showcase Eddie's voice and passion for his music. Buy it, you wont be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sublimely Superb

As a lover of live albums by the bands that I like, Pearl Jam seem to be able to satisfy my need more than any other band, as they release just about every live concert they do, but this one surpasses all expectation.
The 3 disc Live in Mansfield was a superb album, but I prefer this to that which takes some doing.

Its not an acoustic set like, the MTV stuff, but a more intimate concert, but the tracks on it are just superb, from Man of the Hour, to the best bass line I have ever heard on Daughter.

I won't spoil it but I would say that to listen to this on your iPod or whatever would be like looking at Van Goughs 'Sunflowers' in sun glasses. This is what Hi Fi was built for, so I got mine back out the box and it was so worth the effort.

Well done Pearl Jam and keep it coming !

ogni concerto dei Pearl Jam è un'avvenimento , è dal vivo che questo grande gruppo rock dà il meglio, e questo concerto, giustamente famoso è uno dei momenti alti del gruppo. Il cd ne restituisce tutta l'emozione.

As always, Pearl Jam produce, and how? This is on a par with their usual output and shows a different side of a multi-talented group. Okay, it is an older recording with lots of more recent songs absent, understandably, but it is still a unique document of the time and well worth every penny. If you're a PJ fan then treat yourself; if you're not, then do likewise. I'd be surprised if any rock fan found this disappointing.
