    Both cables I received measure > 10 ohms end to end on the ground conductor (it should read < 0.1 ohm). I see wildly fluctuating wave forms (e.g. for square waves) on the oscilloscope whenever I touch or move the cables. I also performed a characteristic impedance test (from 1MHz to 50 MHz) and found fluctuations up to 63 ohms (should be 50 ohms). This indicates unacceptably poor workmanship and lacky quality control.

    I see other reviews from more than two years ago that have found the same problems with bad connections. So, why buy cables with doggy connection from a foreign company that doesn't care about quality?

    These are 50 Ohm (looks like RG-58) cables with BNC ends. Note - There are both 50 and 75 Ohm coax cable standards. Most purely RF equipment is designed for 50 Ohms. Most analog Video and many RF video applications use 75 Ohms. The 50 Ohm BNC standard predates the 75 Ohm standards. Most, but not all, common BNC connectors themselves are the 50 Ohm standard like this one - even sometines when used on 75 Ohm applications. Some high performance video equipment uses a true 75 Ohm BNC connector that at first glance looks like a more common 50 Ohm BNC connector like this one. But a true 75 Ohm BNC has a smaller center pin and slight differences in the inner barrel diameter of the mating connector.

    Pay attention when connecting to video equipment - Some of them have slightly different BNC connectors and will not mate correctly with the common 50 Ohm BNC connectors - And if you jam it on anyway, you will damage the special 75 Ohm BNC connector in a very expensive piece of equipment. One of the most obvious visual differences is the center pin size.

    The good:
    This is a 50 Ohm BNC cable and connector. It appears to me to be pretty good quality. I found no issues connecting to my 50 Ohm equipment.

    Could be improved:
    The cable is a little bit stiff for RG-58. It's not hard or semi-rigid by any means, it's just a little less flexible than I prefer on the bench. It's the only negative I found.
