This spice mix arrived fast and I put it in a recipe for spice cake because I was not able to find the spice cake mix. It worked great. I'd use 2 teaspoons next time instead of just 1 1/2 teaspoons.     This is a very pleasant spice, easy to sprinkle on cereal, into coffee or top buttered toast. It’s not the somewhat harsh pumpkin spice with cloves (although those are good for baking). This uses allspice instead of clove. It has a very balanced almost sweet flavor.
    I used 2 teaspoons of this and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (i like extra cinnamon) for a large pumpkin pie, and it was the best i’ve ever made. Tons of compliments. Well spiced and flavorful, yet mellow.
