Quite an abrupt ending, thoroughly enthralling. The book goes into somewhat mind bending descriptions of Ling's "Corporate Technology" financing mechanisms which were extremely exciting and fascinating to unravel and understand. Best investment in my personal education.

Breezy and well written book on LTV and corporations

A well written anecdotal story book on LTV and corporate culture in general. Written in 1972 after LTV had collapsed. Has withstood the test of time. Anybody who works in a corporation today can see the similarities with then and now.

While as a boy i really loved the Cutlass and in my first visits to Washington, DC to work with the Douglas Reps I met early Cutlass pilots, that was as irrelevant to LTV in the 60's as Constant Peg was to at least one pilot. My own experience with Samuelson and Propensity to Consume and Propensity to Save only lit up the German mark as a interpretter for my parents tourist trips. So there never was a TA-7 from the factory and ILAAS was not the only Light Attack avionic system of the post iron sight and toss bomb nuclear era. (TA-4J and it's brother AV-8A/B found solid state truth that maybe even International sales could fathom.) Ling, Yeah! he made sense to himself.
