Keep relaxed and aware of your child's whereabouts with the Mommy I'm Here Child Locator, a small two-unit wireless device. The cute, brown, teddy-bear-shaped unit mounts easily to a child's shoe or belt. Ideal in public environments such as malls, the unit communicates with a keychain transmitter you keep on hand. Whenever you notice that a child has wandered too far, you simply press the button on the keychain and the teddy bear receiver produces an audible alert that's easy to track.

The Peace of Mind of Wireless Child Location
If you often find yourself worried for your child's security in public venues, or simply want to keep track of his or her location, the Mommy I'm Here locator is your answer. This unique, fun-themed wireless child locator system is a great way to keep track of your child in any public location, such as a mall, airport, theme park, or sporting arena.

The locator is a two-unit system--one that attaches to your child and one you keep with you. If you notice that your child has strayed, press the button on the keychain transmitter to activate/ set off the alarm on the bear. The loud, 86-decibel alarm on your child's unit then allows you to find him or her quickly and easily.

And the locator works from over 150-feet away, making it perfect for large venues and outdoor areas. The units establish their own proprietary frequency with each use, so inter-unit communication is strong and reliable.

Cute Teddy Bear Receiver Attaches to Child's Shoe or Belt
The playful teddy-bear-shaped receiver comes in a classic teddy-bear-brown color. (You can also choose pink.) The receiver comes with a sturdy mounting loop, so it can be attached easily to a child's shoelaces, Velcro straps, or belt, becoming a cute accessory for them and unbeatable reassurance for you.

If you've ever dealt with physical locator solutions like leashes or harnesses, you will appreciate the wireless design of this locator. With the Mommy I'm Here Child Locator, you can keep your leashes on your pets and walk freely with your child without worry.

Durable Unit is Water Resistant and Long-Lasting
Designed by parents for parents, the Mommy I'm Here offers several realistic assets any parent or guardian will appreciate. To begin with, it comes pre-installed with batteries, so you can start using it right away. Have a long day of activities planned? With this locator, it's no problem--the long-life batteries deliver hours of operation. And because it's engineered with active children in mind, the receiver is sturdy and water resistant.

Want to keep track of more than one child? That's no problem, either--you can operate more than one teddy bear receiver with a single keychain transmitter.

Excellent quality product - VERY LOUD

Excellent quality product - VERY LOUD
We have tried many different products to locate our 3-year-old if she runs off while we're at Walmart, etc. We mostly wanted something that would beep loudly so that we could find her right away. We tried 2 other products very similar to this one - one was the Toddler Tag by Brickhouse Security (it stopped working within a few months & when we contacted the company they wouldn't do anything for us because it was "out of warranty" - a battery change did not fix it) and another was Giggle Bug Toddler Tracker (which was even crummier..it stopped working within a couple weeks..just made a loud beeping noise that would never stop). So far we have used Mommy I'm Here a handful of times and it is working perfectly. The noise it makes is VERY loud - almost embarrassingly loud - which is a good thing. We just strap it around our daughter's ankle with the enclosed Velcro strap, and it never seems to bother her and she hasn't tried taking it off. We affectionately call it her "ankle bracelet" (lol). To activate it, all you do is turn the switch on the bear to "on," then press the button on the transmitter until you hear a couple beeps. Now, when you want to find your little one, just hit the button on the transmitter and it will immediately emit a very loud beep (I believe 3 times) before going off on its own. At that point, you can press the button again if you'd like, until the child is located. We always keep our little one close, but sometimes you never know when they'll dart off & hide in the middle of all those clothing racks. You can panic a little less knowing you have this bear strapped on and will be able to locate them in a heartbeat.

I purchased this clever product after considerable research and used it for the first time on a trip overseas with my 4 year old. It was a great comfort as we navigated international airports, train stations, and large cities. The device clipped easily to his velcro shoe straps and I kept the remote fastened my belt loop. It has a good range and the beep is loud and piercing enough so it can be heard in even the busiest of places.

It is simple in design, easy to activate and small enough to throw in a backpack or purse when not in use. Because it is in the shape of a pudgy, friendly bear it is easily accepted by both boys and girls alike however it also comes in pink. Highly recommended! I often find myself saying "Oh, I wish I had the bear with me" when we go to a festival, park, the mall, etc. And I'll be giving a few of these for gifts this year!

My wife and I bought 2 bears before our trip to Disney. I did not take them out of the package before the trip, so I tried them out the night before our first day at Magic Kingdom. I bear worked perfectly but had trouble with the 2nd bear arming itself. My husband called the 800# on the back of the package and left a message. The following day the owner of the company called him back with suggestions on how we could correct the problem along with his cell #. We called him back and explained the situation. He was extremely helpful and sent out a new bear to my home to replace the old one. He said this issue was extremely rare and he was sorry for our inconvenience. I loved the bears and would by them all over again. The peace of mind knowing our kids were safe was priceless. The owner was so helpful that we would just like to say thanks to him for a great product and standing behind it.

Bought this for use with my 3 year old son. We are traveling to Buenos Aires for a visit with my wife's family and some tourism. My wife and I keep our son under careful watch constantly but it is always good to have a backup just in case we both have a brain freeze. The receiving unit is hard plastic and looks sturdy. The bear is realtively large (I thought it was going to be a little smaller and soft for some reason). Putting on a shoe or a belt adds some weight and is noticeable by the child. It has a hard plastic loop in the back of the bear. A belt can fit through it or presumably a velcro strap for a shoe. Laces would not work so well...and there is no other way to secure it to your child. I guess you could put it in a coat pocket or something like that. The range is decent. If your kid is beyond the range you should be arrested for being stupid and letting him get that far away from you.

Two problems. The noise is pretty loud and piercing. Scared the you know what out of my kid. He is not good with noise and freaks at the daycare fire drills...so keep that in mind. But..a loud annoying noise is what you want..but be prepared.

Also whoever designed the remote needs help. It is large..and bulky. Well made but big. The problem is the button. It is unprotected and can be accidently triggered if it is in your pants or purse and you or something whacks the button...and then you have a false alarm and in my case...a kid freaked out for no reason. I wish it had little ridges around it like some car remotes have...to reduce the number of accidental false alarms. Simple design change..

For the price it does the job. Well made. Cheap. Noisy and effective for what it does. Just be careful reaching in your pocket at that quiet restaurant ...your kid could go off like a fire alarm.

I bought this locator and the one in brown for my two kids. First of all the monitor was supposedly able to fit on a shoe, that didn't work, or you could put it in their pocket. YEA RIGHT. neither of my kids had pockets. And when I tested the alarm, it had to be pointed almost right at my child to get the alarm to go off. The alarm only goes off for so long, then if you try to get it to go off again TOO BAD! I had my daughter take it in to the bathroom and shut the door; the alarm wouldn't sound at all. I was going to send them back, but my kids are using them to play with. You're best to go with something else.
