Great stuff. Use it to repair cast iron sewer pipe.

This stuff is MADE to bond to metal. Used it to repair cracks in sewer pipe; a layer of fibreglass mesh tape first and then this stuff. Made repair a year ago and still holding up. FYI an epoxy "cast iron sewer pipe repair kit" has same goo but costs ten times as much. Be careful on the hardener though. Too much and you won't have enough time to apply the goo.

Bondo (and all plastic body fillers) somehow got a bad rap, probably because it's often used improperly: ladled-on over rust, slathered over big dents, etc. Heck, I've been known to abuse the stuff in my shadowy past. But it always does its job, in a fairly wide range of temperatures too. Mix it up, spread it on, work it with a body file and sandpaper, then fine tune. It works. Love it.

Dries fast, little shrinkage, can patch, then sand, and use a fast prime in a few hours ready to apply first coat. Yes it's pink but that helps identify if use for a skim coat too. The can is about 3/4 full on arrival. It works just like Bondo did 30 years ago and smells the same also. The product itself is superb, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the partly full can. When I buy a 1 gallon can of paint it is filled to the brim. So should this and there is no good reason to ship a partially full can in my book. If there is a scientific reason to ship a 3/4 full can, I would like to know it.
