I have a dozen citrus squeezers, but now I'm happy. This beats the others for several reasons. I have a reamer, one of those odd looking metal scissor shaped things, dish type juicers and of course have done hand squeezing. I've tried other types too, but none were effective enough. I got the lime version of this gadget to make key lime pie and loved it. It was big enough for little lemons, but I finally realized I'd have to bite the bullet and get a real lemon sized version because I've taken to drinking lemon water daily and needed something more efficient than what I had. I'd even tried the version that had both the lime and lemon sizes combined but that turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.
This thing gets much more juice out of the fruit than any other method I've seen. It retains the seeds and most of the pulp. A little fine pulp can get through so if you have to have perfectly clear juice, I'd use a little strainer under it, but I've never found what little gets through to be a problem. What I get is a lot of juice. The unit is strong enough to squeeze even thin skinned lemons that have gone hard on the outside.
At first it seemed counter-intuitive to put the halved fruit in with the cut side facing down, but after you squeeze it, you see how it works and I'm always impressed with the amount of juice that comes out.
I'm really pleased with both this and the lime sized squeezer and recommend them.

Lemon squeezer - easy to squeeze the fruit for juice

I've only juiced with this about a half dozen times, but it's working well and I have no complaints. The reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that it does not feel as heavy-duty or solidly-constructed as other lemon squeezers I've used before. But, for the price, it's a great buy.
