Just received this product today and it no longer contains Suntheanine. I ordered the same product a month or two ago and it was made with Suntheanine but it seems that they have stopped using it, despite what the product description says. Why this (potentially) matters: Suntheanine is the only L-theanine preparation known to be 100% L-theanine. Other preparations (likely this new formulation) may contain up to 50% D-theanine, a non-psychoactive isomer. Just a heads up from a disappointed customer.

I suffer from some pretty debilitating anxiety and usually hate going out because of it. I hate large crowds and just getting through the day was always a struggle. I got my bottle of L-theanine about 4 days ago and I took one immediately. An hour later my mood lifted and I felt 100 times better than I have felt in ages. I actually felt like going out. This product makes me feel calm and in control. I love that feeling and thus I love L-theanine. I hope it continues to work for me.

i hate that we've been lied to for so long...I guess knowledge truly is power.
I used to take Klonopin and other anxiety meds, not realizing just how addicting they were until I tried to stop taking them. Talk about an ordeal, I am finally weened from those meds but i still suffer from anxiety.
I went on youtube to research what others were going through and how they were coping without those medications that the doctor gives, then promptly treats you like an addict.

I came across a review for this supplement and i tried it. Since weening myself from the anxiety medication i was unable to cross a large bridge that i live by, ( I know silly) but I couldn't do it from fear. This supplement calms me but does not make me drowsy, I'm riding my bike, shopping, crossing the bridge and moving becasue I have my nerves in check.

I will continue with this supplement as it honestly does keep you calm but not drowsy.

Up till several months ago, I've been on Ambien to sleep for about the past 5 years, and without it, sleep would never come, even sometimes after 48 hours, and then only a few restless hours to take the edge off. But Ambien can also play tricks with a person's judgement and memory and I knew I had to get off the stuff.

Quite accidentally, I came across LTheanine in the process of gradually coming off the Ambien [which at that point wasn't going well]. Surprisingly, I slept quite well that night and felt more rested than when I'd been on the Ambien. Within a week, I'd completely come off the Ambien and I rarely miss any sleep at all anymore. I typically get at least as good a night sleep as I did 30 years ago and am generally no more than 5 minutes before falling asleep.

Having also read that the product is good for anxiety, I asked both my wife and daughter to give it a try. Both will often lay there for hours before falling asleep, and both have issues with anxiety over daily life.

My wife has had fantastic results. Where I have usually joked with her that she wakes up at the sound of a leaf blowing across our lawn, she almost never wakes up in the middle of the night and her 4 or 5 o'clock wake-ups are history. We were both shocked a couple of weeks ago when she actually slept through a thunderstorm that was enough to make the doggy squirrelly. My daughter has had similar success with the added benefit that she has been able to cut down her dosage and frequency of anxiety medication and has all but eliminated panic attacks in her life.

I am very skeptical when it comes to homeopathy and supplements. Much, if not most, is purely hype, misinformation, and lies. In this case, this is the real deal. Theanine, is very useful for anyone with issues ranging from mild to annoying anxieties to sleep issues to stress during the day. This really does the job at "taking the cares away," but not like Valium does, where you can zombie out. The best way to describe it is as a nice, calming feeling. You can still get all your work done, but not worry about things, which helps keep your focus together. When it comes to sleep, this is a good way to lull you to slumber by much the same way, removing any anxieties or bothers. Well worth the try, and I always trust products from Now.

If you have trouble talking to others, get this. I was dubious after reading a blog post advocating these, but I decided to give it a shot. Popped one in the morning, one in the afternoon, go out to a bar that night.
Now, I'm not a very talkative guy. I like to sit in the back and people watch and think about what to say to people but not actually say it. But there is something in this pill, it's probably the Theanine, that just made me the most personable person in the crowd. I was talking to everybody, and not in the awkward way where everybody wants to leave, in the smooth flowing way that normal people talk.
So there's that.

Also if you really need to buckle down and your dealer isn't available to sell you that Adderall, take one of these and 200mg of caffeine. The caffeine makes you sharp and focused, the theanine keeps you from being jittery. It's like that movie Limitless except it doesn't kill you over time.
