Not as good as season 3 but there are still some laughs here and there. Weigel comes back pregnant from an apparent leave thanks to the sperm bank which apparently a few of the guys contribute to for a few extra dollars. Along the way you'll meet Junior's family as they have a "wild" reunion, witness Carrot Top go crazy, the return of "Spanish" Mike Alvarez (you may remember him tricking them into thinking he was with Homeland Security) as he tries to sweet talk his way out of jail. The sheriff's department gets sponsored by a breastaraunt in which they get free food but have to drive around in hot pink cruisers and uniforms. We find out Kimball is a devout Christian and tries to get Johnson to tag along with her on some gatherings. In the finale we see Dangle getting married to his life partner (the mascot!) but it gets crashed at the last minute. Some of the stuff is wearing a little thin - the cheesy infomercials where they promote crappy products. It was hilarious at first when they were very obviously reading from a script but after a few seasons it lost its touch. Likewise with Juniors footage of pulling people over. Always nice to see Patton Oswalt (Spence from King of Queens.)

Reno 911! is a hilarious spoof of the "Cops" type of reality show; the acting stays strong all throughout and I couldn't stop laughing! They keep the action going, too. If this show is new to you, I recommend you try watching an episode--you just might become hooked! I'm impressed that they went through the trouble of filming some scenes in a real working police substation in Carson, California. Much of what we see is improvised with actors making up their lines as they go along; there is minimally scripted material so we can see just talented these actors are. There is Cedric Yarbrough as Deputy Jones who is forever trying to be the ultimate ladies' man; Niecy Nash as Deputy Raineesha Williams, a remarkably curvaceous cop with an attitude; Robert Ben Garant as Deputy Travis Junior who is something of a redneck; Thomas Lennon as flamboyantly gay (but usually in denial) Lieutenant Jim Dangle; Kerri Kenney as manic depressive, racist sociopath (and now mysteriously pregnant) Deputy Trudy Wiegel; Carlos Alazraqui as Deputy James Garcia who has his own attitudes; Wendi McLendon-Covey as the loose woman Deputy Clementine Johnson and Mary Birdsong as "I Am Not a Lesbian" Deputy Cherisha Kimball.

At the very beginning of the episode, we watch Reno Sheriff die a mysterious and unanticipated death before he can even be placed in an ambulance. His last words are "avenge my death;" and that's exactly what the Deputies intend to do. Look for a very funny scene in which Dangle tries to discreetly take fingerprints at the funeral where the very attractive and young Sherriff's wife shows up with an unknown young man; and their interactions with the coroner are hilarious!

Many of the descriptions on this season are out of order with the actual episode. I'm not sure if the episodes are presented out of order, or just the descriptions. Kind of frustrating when you purchase one episode thinking you are getting the storyline presented in the description, only to find out it is not .
Also, even with Prime I'm unable to purchase the entire season in digital form, just one episode at a time.
The show itself is very funny, though I do agree with the previous review that some of the skits grew thin.
The show gets 5 stars, Amazon gets four for the digital content frustration and confusion.

Reno 911! is an incredibly funny spoof of a "Cops" type reality show; the acting is terrific! They filmed some of the scenes in a real working police substation in Carson, California and they use cars that look like cop cars; they went to great lengths to make this look as realistic as possible. Much of what we see is improvised with actors making up their lines as they go along; there is a minimal amount of scripted material. Stars of the show include Cedric Yarbrough as Deputy Jones who keeps trying to be the ultimate ladies' man; Niecy Nash as Deputy Raineesha Williams, a remarkably curvaceous cop with an attitude; Robert Ben Garant as Deputy Travis Junior who is a redneck; Thomas Lennon as flamboyantly gay (but sometimes in denial) Lieutenant Jim Dangle; Kerri Kenney as manic depressive, racist sociopath Deputy Trudy Wiegel; Carlos Alazraqui as Deputy James Garcia who has his own attitudes; Wendi McLendon-Covey as loose woman Deputy Clementine Johnson and Mary Birdsong as Deputy Cherisha Kimball.

In this episode, the Deputies instruct a bus driver how to deactivate a bus bomb so she can go free; and when the force has so many budget cutbacks that they are really feeling the pinch, they actually get their first ever corporate sponsor--Hotty's chicken wings restaurants! But when "the new Hotty's police cruiser" cop car gets displayed, you can tell things are not going to be the same once they have income from Hotty's. Wait until you see their new uniforms! The Deputies initially enjoy their free food; but Hotty's staff gets unbelievably mixed up with the force before everything spirals out of control.

Moreover, look for a huge surprise when members of a hate group turn up at a carnival--one of them interacts with a black woman with very unexpected and hilarious results!
