I am really pleased with this purchase, I bought the 7.5qt. We already own 4.5-7qt Staub and like enameled dutch ovens. I attribute the superior performance of what we received to Lodge getting the thickness and consistency of the product walls just perfect. The enamel coating delivers, too, thus far.
Typically, I dislike Lodge products but for this price I struck. Couldn’t be happier, this is a real workhorse, a true performer and robust. Looks to last at least 3-5 years and most likely beyond with decent care. We haven’t had to apply baking soda let alone soaps or ceramic cleaners to get the product squeaky clean, and there are no stains left behind nor is much effort at cleaning required.
Recently we’ve used Instant Pots, with which we are really happy except that the stainless interior pots never seem to clean well, there is always some mineral residue in a crease or crack no matter what.
So we’ve drifted to the Lodge 7.5 enameled for all-around cooking and I guess we’ll continue to use both traditional cookery and Instant Pots in combination to achieve really excellent results. At first we thought the 7.5 ridiculously too large in dimension but after keeping it a while we ain’t a goin’ to a give ‘er up. Performs how we want and is quality kitchen gear. Lodge hit a home run in the sweetspot this time. Thank you, Lodge.

Cooking And Caring For Your Lodge Enameled Cast Iron
1. Allow cookware to cool.
2. Although dishwasher safe, hand washing with warm soapy water and a nylon Scrub Brush is recommended to preserve the cookware’s original appearance. Citrus juices and citrus-based cleaners (including some dishwasher detergents) should not be used, as they can dull the exterior gloss.
3. If necessary, use nylon pads or scrapers to remove food residue; metal pads or utensils will scratch or chip porcelain.
4. Slight stains can be removed by rubbing with dampened cloth and Lodge Enamel Cleaner or other ceramic cleaner according to directions on bottle.
5. Dry cookware thoroughly before storing. Do not stack cookware.

Update: I’ve contacted Lodge. I completed the form they sent and uploaded photos of the damage. Within a day I heard back from Lodge and they are replacing the Dutch oven at no charge. I’ve updated star rating to reflect their excellent customer service, but did knock down 1 star for the having a quality issue to begin with.I've used Lodge cast iron products before and have been very happy with them. This is the first of the enameled pots I have purchased. Love the size and the way this cooks. However very disappointed in the quality of the finish. Unfortunately it did not hold up well for me. Received as a Christmas gift in Dec 2022 and used it probably once per month since then. Photos show that on both handles, the finish did not last. For this reason, I would not recommend this purchase from Amazon.
