My wife and I have adopted the vegetarian, not vegan, lifestyle. OK, me not so much I'm just along for the ride. But she's a really great cook. There's chicken stock in a number of things she cooks. Honestly, I can't tell the difference in any of the food.

Wanted to make some kind of take on ramen the other day to use up some veggies. Made a broth with 2 quarts water and 3 tbsp of this bouillion, which used just about 1/2 of the jar. Added some soy sauce and some teriyaki sauce, white pepper, garlic and onion power, and then a bunch of veggies. Boiled misc mushrooms for a while, then threw in some chopped peppers, some left over broccoli, and some delicious baby bok choy. At the end added some vegan ramen noodles and let cook up. It was DELICIOUS! Girlfriend and I both loved it. Hard to believe its vegan.

I made vegan chicken noodle soup (recipe from Hot For Food) with Better Than Bouillon, No Chicken Base for vegans and it was spot on. It tasted like chicken and I was completely pleased with it. My bottle was well protected with bubble wrap and packaged in a box. It is salty straight from the jar but I'm sure it's the same with all bouillon but once mix with water the taste is amazing. I would buy this product again.

I just finished a glowing review for the BTB "No Beef" base...no bouillon on the market is as rich, complicated, and tasty. Same goes for this. The taste compared to chicken broth is uncanny. My vegan husband and I (I'm a vegetarian) love this and use it often. I use the "Gravy in a Snap" recipe from the BTB website to make yummy gravy (perfect for Thanksgiving), just add a dash of white wine. It's also great to make broth when someone isn't feeling well. I don't know how they do it, but BTB vegan bases are to-die-for.

This tastes like chicken broth, it really does. I make a very satisfying vegan chicken noodle soup with it using tofu, or make it with quorn chicken which is not a vegan product. I also like to use it for cooking rice or making gravy. The beef flavor is also very good. This brand is much much more authentic tasting than another vegan chicken flavored bouillon that I tried.

I primarily bought this to use as a base in soups, as well as to season soy curls and give them a chickeny flavor. It’s really good and it doesn’t taste artificial at all. I’m not a full-time vegetarian and I eat chicken a couple times a month, and this scratches the same itch as real chicken bouillon/stock for me. I’ve been intermittent fasting as well and whenever I get hungry or snacky outside of my feeding hours, I’ll drink some of this stuff (it technically does have calories- 15 per serving- but that’s fine with me).

We have always loved the ready made broths by Imagine, the type that come in the large cartons, and that you typically have to buy at Whole Foods or Fresh Food stores. Unfortunately, we aren't always near one of those stores. That is where this bouillon came in. We were far from a store where we could buy our preferred broth. We were sick and wanted to make soup. We were able to buy this bouillon. We gave it a shot. It was delicious! Hurray!! Another bonus? It takes up SO much less room that carton after carton of Imagine broth. I think we have a new favorite way of making soup!

For people who are vegetarian or vegan and are looking to get that chicken flavor in their foods, this is hands down the best product I've used to achieve that. It, legit, tastes just like chicken. Before transitioning to vegan eating, chicken was one of my favorite foods and now I'm able to achieve that same taste in my foods.
