Very handy for a minimalist tool bag
First things first I want to double clarify the photos I posted were after 10 years of use. I don't want people to get the wrong idea. The pair in the photos were STILL working just with a bit of finesse.I am an instrumentation technician so these got plenty of use. I work on the maintenance side of things, not the installation. So perhaps not as much use as installers but they did get used and abused. I would even use these on wire bundles to remove the sheathing without damaging the wire insulation. I'm talking stuff they probably weren't designed for that I had to JAM into the auto stripping part.I do a lot of climbing stairs and ladders so I like to keep a light weight minimalist bag I can sling over my shoulder, so I appreciate the crimps being included.They are pretty bulky so they can be a pain if you don't have a lot of wire to work with or if it's in a tight place. The cutters also aren't the best but still work in a pinch.You can't beat the price for how much I've done with these which is why I'm retiring this pair and getting another after 10 years.
