The package I bought contains 100, which should last for a while. I fold each one in half, then loop the pointed ends over and twist them slightly. After that I use needle nose pliers to press the sharp ends into the pipe cleaner (because the ends are close to the eyes when the pipe cleaner is in the face mask). Theseare working well for the original purpose. Am now also using them instead of twist ties for food in plastic bags. They are handy and seem to last longer than the twist ties that come with most products. Finally, those little plastic "squares" that are now on many bags of bread are not as easy to use either, so these work great. Many thanks for good value.
