I bought this lazy Susan to fit in an upper cabinet that was 11" deep.
When it came I tried it in the shelf, and door would not close.
I measured lazy Susan, and the circle is 11" but the edge goes over that measurement.
Very disappointed.

I'm a wood-loving person so it seems surprising that I would be such a fan of these lazy susans. Here's why I chose these over the wood for storing on shelves and some counters (I still go for wood when it's going to show and won't have to hold large amounts ) ..these are light, sturdy , easy to clean, super easy to spin and hold an amazing amount of cans on a pantry shelf. I bought a couple of another plastic ones and they squeak when they turn-even without anything on them. These don't squeak and I have them piled reallllly high. They are a very good product because they do their job and are no hassle.

I ordered two InterDesign lazy susans to replace two different lazy susans, more expensive, that I'd ordered/received a year ago––and which fell apart, spewing plastic bearings/pieces thru my cupboards. InterDesign makes an exceptional product; I'd have given it five stars, but it's not recyclable. It is, however, BPA free, has steel ball bearings, a lip that keeps items securely contained, and rotates smoothly. Buy it.

I use these in my pantry and refrigerator, they are sturdy, spin smoothly and in my opinion much superior to any of the others I have used. Also the size is accurate. The 11 inch is 11 inches inside measurement, outside measurment a little over 11 inch. These take up less space which is important when making the best use of pantry or refrigerator space. Other turntables listed as 12 inches are 11 inches inside and do not hold any more they waste space with rounded edges. I like the almost straight sides. I have never had to replace any of these. I need a good 17 or 18 nch turntable, wish this company offered one.

Reviews of two-tier and one-tier 11 inch turntable are intermixed

It appears that the reviews of the two-tier and one-tier turntables are intermixed. I purchased the two-tier turntable with great expectations because it was the exact diameter (11-5/8 inches instead of the cited 11 inches) that would fit in the cupboard.

Unfortunately, the main problem with it was that it would not turn. I'm not sure whether the fact that it arrived with the box virtually broken open contributed to the failure but I didn't see any visible damage to the product except that it failed to fulfill its promised function.

I have several dozen Interdesign containers which are inanimate by their very nature and purpose and I really like the solid way that they are manufactured. Returning the malfunctioning turntable, I might have ordered the 11 inch one-tier turntable as a substitute.but just wasn't willing to put up with another disappointment and boxing up and returning the product.

Instead, I ordered the 10 inch turntable with stainless steel ball bearings with a cited 65-lb capacity that is said in reviews to be noisy and of less capacity than the cited 65 lb. Why? Based on what I read, the Madesmart 10 inch turntable is 2 inches high, the Oxo Good Grips 11 inch turntable is 1-1/2 inches high, the InterDesign Linus turntable is 1-3/4 inches high and the Copco 9 inch turntable is 1-1/2 inches high but the one I ordered is said to be only 1/2 inch high. If I am storing spices on the turntable and they are short, I can adjust the shelf to a low space and not consume half the shelf with the height of the turntable. For another shelf with shorter jars, I am using the Oxo Good Grips turntable and find it works fine.

I use another one in the linen cupboard in the bathroom for aspirin, ibuprofen, band aids, gauze...again, the sort of stuff I would normally have to paw through to find what I needed~now all I have to do is give it a whirl and pluck what I need. They're so handy that I'm trying to think of more places they would be useful!! The first one I bought about 2 years ago, the spice-go-round, and it's as good as the day it arrived.

I puta small decorator box underneath to raise it a few inches, and it has proven to enhance my space and make finding stuff easier. I bought a second one for the bathroom. This shelf is atremendous organism help!
