Russ and his friend Squirrel volunteer to help her cut the timber for the shipment, along with her friends Smacksie Golden and his girlfriend Lil Boggs, who are not used to doing physical labor. A strong troupe enjoying themselves make the film seem better than it is, but even Sheldon Leonard, Richard Arlen, Dick Purcell, June Havoc and Mary Beth Hughes can't overcome the speed with which the picture was produced. Nevertheless, if you are in the mood for good company and can overlook the surroundings, routine script and below average transfer, Timber Queen provides plenty of charm.

Terrible! I recall some great, old movies as a kid in the 50's, and this isn't one of them! REALLY! We are paying for better entertainment. I'm thinking of cancelling Amazon Prime next year and paying shipping for my packages, along with subscribing to Netflix!

Lumber holding widow partners with returned war veteran son of lumber owner and gambler and her roommate to cut enough lumber in 60 days to pay off the loan before the holding is taken over. This was a very good movie and showed old lumber practices of hand sawing trees and using the river to get them to the mill and using horses. Also did use an airplane too. Nostalgic and good characters. Nothing objectionable.

This is just a good old grade B movie from when I was much younger. I don't think it would fly today but, it was free on Amazon Prime, so I watched it... 'Glad I did.

Gripping story, acting as it should be, not shooting & blowing up. No blood splatter with every shot or fight scene. Very good acting. Landscape beautiful. Old equipment unequaled in realism.

Like old movies. No dislikes. Would recommend to others as good wholesome entertainment not like the trash they have today.

Oh my. A real oldie! Looked like some actual, great logging shots and other shots are old Hollywood fake settings.

Not bad for the era I prefer color if available and really enjoy the colorized versions of the old movies
