Fun B-Western! Well done with a good cast ...especially Jack Rockwell as the sheriff a role he played about 40 times. Tarzan the horse, might have been more popular than Maynard with the Saturday Matinee crowd of kids...but Maynard and that singing ...had to go. And it did.

A memorable introduction to Ken Maynard and his famous palomino. One of the cowboy star's best efforts, "Come On, Tarzan" (1932) benefits from an offbeat storyline and Ken's expert riding. Alan James directs in rustic fashion. Co-star Merna Kennedy was Charlie Chaplin's leading lady in "The Circus" (1928).

This movie shows a great depiction of what cowboys and ranch life was like during the late 20's and early 39's. It also shows a realistic treatment of women in the west, good and bad. Movies like this need to be viewed for their historic value.

I enjoyed the movie since the theme is based on fact and the fighting and horse back riding with the intense dust is so much closer to real life than most new films, there is a scene where an actor backs into a real bayonet plant and it is unscripted and you may miss it if you are not paying attention. If you like old westerns, then you will not be disappointed with this one.

Great old Western. Gotta love the stunts in the chase scenes at the end. Interesting story line about killing horses for pet food and how things have changed politically about that and wild horses since then.

The film quality was extremely poor and the sound wasn't much better. The write up said it was about a very smart horse named Tarzan but very little of the horse was in the movie.

I like this movie because it is old and fun. You don't have to think a lot when you watch it. It is purely entertaining like movies used to be. Any age could watch it.
