Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I'll start out by saying I really like Bob's Red Mill products. Whenever I have to purchase a new flour product, I always look at Bob's Red Mill first. I purchased this oat flour for a healthy tiramisu recipe, and I am very happy with it. The flour is high quality and tasted great in the recipe. I found the texture to be a little unusual, but I think that is just because I have never tried oat flour before.
I use this to wash my face. I have eczema and rosacea and in the winter my face hurts and itches all the time and everything burns with the ferocity of a thousand suns. So I started washing my face with oatmeal, since colloidal oatmeal is a traditional, scientifically supported remedy for both rosacea and eczema. It doesn't remove a lot of dirt, but it does remove excess out and very gently exfoliate and sooth without drying out my skin. I also think that it helps to keep my skins natural bacterial fauna balanced instead of decimating them twice a day. It works about as well as any other face washing method, except I only use it in the morning because it does not remove my zinc/titanium sunscreen and I don't like zits.
My rating is due to my not liking the grainy texture of the flour. I mixed it with other flour just to use it. I buy their whole wheat flour but I guess I am not an oat flour guy.
Works just like white wheat flour but with full grain benefits and without the problems of allergies or potential GMO. Used in cookies and in a carrot cake, but in both cases seriously reduced the sugar ingredients, thereby being less sweat and less crunchy. Will experiment with fiber to add crunchiness. It is expensive compared to store bought wheat flour.
Red Mill products are good quality. I live in a small town with one grocery store. We don't have much choice on products.. I rely on Amazon for a lot of products.
I had a very hard time finding this oat flour and was so happy to find it on Amazon. I used it to make a bread that was carbohydrate low and the bread was very good.
This is such a good idea, I am using it to bake my own bread with and am so pleased to break away from wheat all time. I am not wheat intolerant but it is obviously a boon for those who are, to use.
bought as a special ingredient,(treats for a special four legged friend) but have found many uses in day to day cooking. Will certainly be buying more of this versatile flour
