This is a good, well respected oil for lubricating firearms but can also be used as a general purpose oil (similar to what you might use 3-in-one oil for).
The downside of this particular product is you get 1/2 ounce (15ml) for more money than if you bought their "standard" 2 1/4 ounce (67ml) orange bottle.
But I wanted the needle oiler, which is much nicer to use than the larger bottle's spout for most applications. So I bit the bullet. Take the hit once then refill it with the cheaper bottle.
This was on sale for a couple days in Oct 2024 for about $5. It's normally $7-$8.
I posted some photos (like others) that show that the bottle I got has yellow-ish oil compared to the clear fluid in the larger bottle. I don't know if this means anything significant as far as performance goes - I doubt it. Maybe it's just come coloring so you can see the level in the translucent bottle easier than if the fluid were clear?
