Charles in Charge was a childhood favorite of mine and still is, this gem just puts me in a good mood. Charles in Charge Season 5 is the final season of this clever and hilarious sitcom, I am a child of the '80s so having all the seasons is bittersweet. Season 5 will be released this summer and think this season was the best by a mile. Only Scott Baio could play this likeable role, I highly recommend it. Reserve your copy today!

It is unbelievable to me that Amazon holds on to rights of this TV series and continues to refuse to make any more DVDS. Either make more DVDs or sell the rights to someone who will. It has been years since you could buy this series for anything that is close to reasonable. Not everyone wants to stream video, some of us want to own the DVD!!!

I loved the show when I was a teen when it first aired and today these bring back great memories and was sad to see it go away! Charles graduates college and gets a teaching job in the final episode and they (actors/crew/audience) sing the "Charles In Charge" theme song! Love it!

The final season of the beloved late 80's and early 90's sitcom Charles in Charles is both hysterically funny and oh so bittersweet. This is the last season where Charles takes care of the not so little children but teenagers of the Powel family, the last time he gets into trouble in college, with his bevy of girls, and the last time that his beloved and supposedly dumb best friend Buddy and Charles enjoy their adventures in the world of Charles in Charge.A word about Buddy, while his character starts out being a wide out and not so smart college kid, he also evolves into a total moron at some points in the other seasons, avid Buddy fans will be happy to know that in the last season Buddy not only shows great maturity, but proves over and over again that sometimes the fool is really that as big of a fool as one might think! I loved this show and highly reccomend to get the last season of Charles in Charge- they just dont make sitcoms like that anymore!

I have purchased and viewed the entire "Charles in Charge" TV series on DVD. It's a wonderful nostalgic to TV times when comedies were more pure and funny and sweet. Yet there were some lessons learned along the way, too. The only negative point I would mention about this series is that toward the end of it, no mention was made of the mother character - where she was, why she was always gone from the house. Season 4, I believe, had less of her appearance as well but at least she was there occasionally, shown as having taken a fulltime job selling real estate. I guess we're to assume she did that too in Season 5, however, if it weren't for "Aunt Lillian" (Charles' mom) and the grandfather, the kids under 'Charles' charge would not have had an adult family member present at all, which is kind of odd. This is why I rated this season 4 stars rather than 5.

Otherwise, I liked the stories, the acting, and the characters. As I stated, sometimes it's so nice to go back to these old comedies when comedy was more wholesome and fun. It's a good break from today's all-too-many realistic and suggestive plots.

Unlike the garbage you see on TV today, Charles In Charge is one of the best sitcoms in TV history. This is the final season of Charles in Charge and officially completed my Charles in Charge DVD collection. I'm just sad that I don't have any other seasons to look forward to buying. If you like retro TV sitcoms, buy this. You'll be glad you did.

Great to find this episode I was in early in my acting career-albeit a small walk on part but it was a walk down memory lane. Scott Baio was cool to work with!
