Jane is an unusual girl. She has the amazing ability to heal quickly. She works with a secret special agency, hunting genetically enhanced people. I loved watching the show and trying to find out what her abilities are and where they came from. It's too bad there was only one season!

this is EASILY one of the WORST SHOWS EVER. i want all of the minutes i wasted watching this dreck back--i KNOW i will miss them on my deathbed.

the secret to a good comic book is to stick to the formula, create archetypal characters whom speak to the individual aspects of human behaviour, everyone on the team has a unique function, and the legends and origin myths MUST be held sacred; once the GRET SECRET is revealed, it cannot be ignored. NONE of this is present in this show, and i can only imagine the comic book is even worse. this thumbnail that accompanies the show's description(s) doesn't even look like Jane. Jane has VERY blonde hair, and would likely be considered pretty by most White people (yes, i am a White person and i think she is hideous, but i have a thing about the mathematical nature of objective beauty--her eyes are too far apart, for one...), while the woman in this image appears to have very dark hair, close-set eyes, a thick, rolled lower lip while almost no upper lip, a wide nose and would not be considered model material by anyone with eyeballs that function properly, while the "star" of this "show" is so desperate to be the prettiest girl in the room, they purposefully make the other short-lived female character look either very drab or clownish before they kill her off. (she reminds me A LOT of Ashley Judd--tell me Ashley Judd is not BEAUTIFUL...)

one has only to know this: take X-Men, water it down, then take all of the colours and interesting stuff out, water it down some more, and ask some eight-year-olds to write a comic book from what is left, and that is PainKiller Jane.
