Just wanted to confirm to everyone using this for their psp - this does indeed work with two 32gb micro sd cards for a total of 59gb of usable space. I'm using two Sandisk 32gb Class 4 cards, formatted from within the psp and have had no trouble so far. Everything runs smooth and the only trouble I have is thinking of the list of retro heaven I'm going to put on there :)

UPDATE : 1/2/14

Got a giftcard from Best Buy and so used it to buy 2x 64gb micro sd cards - lo and behold! they work in this adapter! Formatted in the psp, and I now have 118gb of storage! Sweet! :D

Expand Memory Like No Other!

I had purchased about 6 of these units already to share with family members and friends because of how amazingly well and unique they are!

A simple device like such is able to combine two micro SD cards into one larger virtual memory card and this is what fascinates and magnifies the value of buying this adapter for your PlayStation Portable device.

As high as the market goes, you can get a PSP memory card Licensed from Sony at 32GB = $67
Now if you buy this adapter and a single 32GB micro memory card to insert into it you can get 32GB = $24
Let alone you are saving NEARLY 36% off because you’re using a different brand selection and memory storage method.

To top things off, you can confidently as I write this review; achieve 128GB of PSP memory storage which is not even on the market from Sony products by joining two 64 GB micro SD cards. The cost for this would nearly $88-$95 but even so, the potential of having so much storage on a PSP is available for the public!

While I haven't been able to experiment it yet, I have discovered that PSP can max out memory at 256GB. Mentioning that the public can achieve 128 GB on Psps as of now, I can only predict that once 128GB micro SD cards are released (Possible around 2014), will this adapter be able to provide two 128GB micro SD cards and give your PSP the limits it can achieve!

Last note about this device. Be sure to handle with care like all small objects. One of my friends accidentally cracked the plastic frame on one of these by simply being too rough with the handling process for his camera.

Rare dual slot adapter with limitations, shipped from Hong Kong

This took awhile to get to me as it was air mailed, but I didn't have to pay much shipping for it. Granted, it is incredibly light. This is more rare than your average SD adapter and was only available this way. I was thrilled when I got it though, because it allows me to put in up to 128 gigs of memory on one Pro Duo... I mean, that is what I could do maximum, not what I used it for, since the 64gb SDs are very expensive. However, you can get genuine sandisk SD cards if you shop around at 32gb for under 20 dollars with shipping. Two of those is less than 40, and with this adapter, you have 64 gigs at your disposal in a pro duo, excellent for taking extensive video or for your PSP.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS:

*It can only be formatted and used in a device (Do not format or transfer data to it with computer's card reader).
ONE SOLUTION: Use your PSP and USB cord as your memory stick reader/connection rather than popping the card and putting it in a "drive" type reader.

*It is essentially a RAID device, so once you stick two cards in, they aren't hot-swappable (you'll have to reformat to use it after changing out a card).

*The micro SDs will have to be reformatted before use in another device (again, because it's a RAID).
Same as above, if you want to backup certain things then reformat, you can do so by using your PSP usb cable.

First, it does what is supposed to...that is...host two 16 GB microSD cards and thus far, allow read and write. There are two technical things that I do not like about this. One, this card is used in a camera. Because of the nature of this adapter, I have a constant splash screen that reminds me that "this card may not record video" almost after every picture taken. Second, the read/write speeds are VERY slow. If you are using this for a camera (which are essentially the only reasons why one would use this product anymore), you will get no burst speed shots. I would probably not rely on this card reader (with micoSD card in place, of course) to capture spur of the moment shots.
Finally, I'm not going to ever order a product from overseas again. This small little thing took well over a month to be shipped (for free) here. But I probably deserved it when I settle for "free". Lesson learned.
I also would not get more than 16 GB cards per slot.

I was recently given a PSP3000 and I needed a memory card (stick). I search around and to my surprise I found several of them still sold at local stores. I had no clue these were still in production and I also had no clue they were SUPER EXPENSIVE!! Freaking Sony and their insane standards and prices!

I continued to look around and stumbled upon a few YouTube video posts about this product and how you can acquire huge memory for cheap compared to buying a Sony product.

The card works like it should. I bought two 32gb micro SD (Class 10) card and now have 59gb of memory available on my PSP3000.

You'd be a fool not to go this route.

Do not order from PBXProTech - (Alpha Bravo Xavier Technology 'Professionals') in case Amazon blocks. Horrible support, defective item. I understand some cards fail, but it took them 3 days for them to reply to my first email telling them the card was a dud. I had given a concise rundown of the steps I had taken, which were above and beyond what their support would soon offer. After three days, these imbeciles send me a canned email, detailing the same steps I had just said I had done. I replied back explaining AGAIN that the card was a dud and asked for them to ship a replacement already. Volunteered to return the 2 dollar card gladly if they'd send a pre-stamped envelope and a replacement. Waited another day or so, and filed a complaint with Amazon since they weren't replying. Amazon has given that refund, indicating to me that Amazon has determined they are sketchy. There is no phone number on their site, and the email I received was in horrible English. Avoid PBXProTech AT ALL COSTS; THE REVIEWS FOR THEM ARE VERY MISLEADING.
