I live in a home that by todays standards is small. 1180 square feet to be exact. While I think it's plenty of room, I do have to be sure to keep the house clutter free, otherwise it will feel so much smaller. Part of this is closet organizing. I used to have one of those stand alone jewelry armoires to keep my jewelry in. It took up a ton of space, and still didn't do a great job keeping my jewelry tangle free.

When I got a new bedroom set, I finally decided to retire the non matching armoire, and try to find a more efficient way to store my precious! Whoops, I meant my jewelry, rings, and watches. I ended up late at night at walmart buying plastic bait boxes which is exactly like Darice 14-Inch by 8.5-Inch by 1.875-Inch Adjustable Organizer with 4 Removable Sections . 6 of those boxes fit nicely in a drawer in my closet organizer. What used to take up a TON of room as a piece of furniture, now fits in one small drawer in my closet!

It works so much better for earrings, rings, watches, and bracelets than my bulky armoire ever did. However, necklaces ended as tangled messes. Enter command mini hooks! I stuck these to an inside wall of my closet, and viola! Instant hanging necklaces! No more tangles, everything in one place, and I can easily keep my home organized and clutter free!

The only downfall is now my husband can see all of my necklaces, and he thinks I have too much. Whoops!

At last; something that works

Bought to hang christmas lights in my conservatory (after years spent trying
sellotape, gaffa tape and Pritt stick pads and others).

A double sided sticky pad is applied to a hook and then the hook is pressed
into postion; you are then supposed to wait an hour before applying a load.

The instructions suggest using isopropyl alcohol to clean surfaces; happily I
havea bottle of ISOPROPANOL which I think is the key to getting a decent
fix on uPVC frames.

Anyway; the hooks work, the lights are up and replacement sticky pads are
readily available so the hooks can be used again in a new location.

Incidentally, I've just found these 3M Command Christmas hooks and they
may be more suited to the Christmas decoration hanging problem, although
I am very happy with my original purchase!

I bought these hooks initially to use in a newly tiled cloakroom / toilet to hang pictures. However, Christmas intervened and I started using them for hanging decorations on walls and doors. Now, I use them for hanging everything. No more hammering pins into walls, drilling walls or whatever. Just break off a plastic hook, remove the red paper cover from an adhesive pad, stick the pad onto the plastic hook, remove the black paper from the other side of the adhesive pad and stick the pad+hook to the wall. Keep pressed for 30 seconds, wait for 30 minutes and you can hang quite heavy things from them. When you want to remove the hook, pull the flexible plastic tab that protrudes below the hook and keep pulling until the hook comes away from the surface. The wall or door remains unmarked. Brilliant.

these little guys are a saviour, they handle many but not all weights, but are fantastically kind to walls, no holes to mend or messing about with drills. Brilliant. Will soon be ordering another pack. I have managed to make my home more homely, however the walls do need to be flat, and clean before application, I did have a few "fails" all in all a very worth while purchase. Needless to say delivery was as usual mighty fast and 100% less stressful than traipsing into town ugh!

One of the rare times I didn't read the reviews before purchasing - only because I am already familiar with the product and was restocking. I was expecting clear hooks, because that is what I previously had, and at first glance the picture looks clear (I concede that it is inconclusive on closer inspection), and nowhere in the description does it say what colour it is. Like another reviewer, I will be keeping the hooks as they will be useful, but I hope amazon update the item to reflect that these hooks are WHITE.
