I have attached my fresh vegetable recipe below.TURKEY CHILI w/ fresh vegetablesBy Shayna ArmondServes 4Ingredients:1 lbs - Turkey Ground Meat4 tbsp. - Chili Powder2 tsp. - Cayenne Pepper6 Med - Roma Tomatoes (Chopped)1 Med - Yellow Onion, Raw (Chopped)1 Med - Green Bell Pepper Raw (Chopped)1 Can - Low Sodium Pinto or Black BeansOptional : 1/4 cup chopped jalapeño 1 Med - Red Bell Pepper Raw (Chopped)Cooking Instructions:*BEFORE YOU COOK! Chop and dice all of your vegetables and put them in a bowl.Brown turkey or beef meat in a medium sauce pot. Once it is browned, drain excess oil from meat. Stir in Chili Powder and Cayenne Pepper. Add bowl full of vegetables.Cover and heat to boiling. DO NOT ADD EXTRA WATER- The tomatoes will cook down and add liquid for the chili sauce. Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer and cover again. I remembered that America's Test Kitchen picked McCormick's chili powder as the best on the market many years ago, so thought I'd give this a try. Any other chili powder that's rated as the best now is not available in Canada and is insanely expensive to order it here. What an awesome deep rich smoky flavour profile. You can even smell the difference cmpared to a cheap chili powder, and it's not even that expensive compared to all those highly regarded brands. My absolute favorite now!
