I have had this eye mask for over 2 years. I can't live without it and travel with it. My husband had to get one after hearing me talk about how great it works. It is very comfortable to sleep with and blocks out all light. My only complaint it that you can't wash it. My husband's smells a little funny. Overall, great product. Worth every penny.

I don't insist on brand name anything, but this product hurts my eyes. I have been a long time user of the Tempurpedic mask I purchased at Brookstone. After many years of use I needed a new mask so I went to Brookstone and purchased this item, which I thought was the same Tempurpedic mask I have been using. This NapForm Eye Mask looks and feels much like the competition's product, but this mask is too narrow. No matter how I adjust the strap, during sleep the mask slips so the "bumps" that are to be below my eyeball moves on top of my eyeball causing uncomfortable pressure.

Today, after a couple months of use, I decided to write to Tempurpedic or Brookstone, and my search lead me to the previous mask I wore! I immediately purchased the perfect mask directly from Tempurpedic. Yippee!

This mask really really blocks out all light - if you open your eyes underneath it, you cannot tell at all if there is any light in the room.
It is very soft and comfortable to wear.

As to washing it - I put one in the washer and dryer once because like anything that touches your skin, after awhile it "lacks freshness," no matter how immaculate a person you are. It survived, but was a bit slack in its elasticness. But I won't hesitate to wash my new one gently by hand with a little Dawn, and dry it without using the dryer (wrap it in a towel for 24 hours, then hang it somewhere).

I just had to write this review.

Brookstone has absolutely no shame. I made the mistake of buying this mask, assuming it was the same Tempur-Pedic mask I'd purchased years ago at a Brookstone store. But what I received had cheaper material, different ergonomics, and was clearly inferior in every way.

Then I figured out what Brookstone had done.

See, Brookstone used to carry Tempur-Pedic's similar-but-much-superior mask (which they call the SleepMask). Then Brookstone just crudely copied the design, started manufacturing it themselves (no doubt more cheaply), and slapped their label on it. And now they're selling it for more than the original. Incredible.

But this is rather endemic of what has become of Brookstone over the years. Would you believe that 20+ years ago, they had unique high-quality products? It's true! Now they just peddle junk to unwary consumers. Going into their mall stores these days is like walking through a joke shop, and typically an empty one at that, aside from 4 pushy sales-kids and a fat guy asleep in a filthy massage chair.

Do yourself a favor and buy the authentic Tempur-Pedic mask. It's $5 cheaper and vastly superior. Even then it's expensive, but the best sleep mask on the market (and this insomniac has tried several). To buy one from Brookstone is to buy a shoddy knock-off, and to support a sleazy company, 20 years past its prime.

Brookstone used to sell the Tempurpedic brand sleep mask which is the absolute best sleep mask on the planet. I stopped at Brookstone to replace a list Tempurpedic sleep mask and was told that this was the exact same thing relabeled under the Brookstone name. Well it isn't. It is flimsy and a clearly inferior knock-off that they are selling for the same price as what they used to charge for the Tempurpedic brand. It does not block light! What a waste of money. Go to the Tempurpedic website and buy the world's best sleep mask directly from them, not this scam.
