Whether it was Spielberg's involvement or something else, Tiny Toons helped usher in a new era for toons. Batman has a claim in on this too but Tiny Toon Adventures helped make it palatable to watch cartoons with the kids or even by yourself. This particular episode is my favorite because it features one of my favorite bands, They Might Be Giants. Kids might not get much from it since it takes shots at MTV and all they know of MTV is Snooki, but I remember being thrilled and I might have even done a little fist pump. My band and my new favorite cartoon together. Validation. With Tiny Toons there is no Invader Zim, no Regular Time and certainly no Adventure Time.

I understand some variance in pricing between seasons/sets, but this seems quite extreme. Volume 1 costs under $15. Why on Earth would this comparable set cost more than 3 times as much?

I am a long time fan of the classic Loony Toon Cartoon Style, and Tiny Toon Adventures played that style well in this way too short (season wise) return. Yes, Animaniacs continued the style, but I still miss Babs and Buster Bunny (No Relation) and their cadre of toon students at ACME University. Having the Professors be our long loved Loony Toon friends added great cameos of Bugs, Yosemite, Daffy, and other stars. No cartoon since has even come close!

My son was laughing for a long time with plucky duck. He truly enjoyed the show. I wish there were more of these beyond 2 seasons.
