G.I. Joe Rise of Cobra Toys R Us Exclusive Firefly

This figure was a Toys R Us exclusive and is somewhat rare. Firefly is one of my favorite figures and is one of the quintessential Cobra Characters. There have been many different versions of this figure. This particular one is amongst the best of them. It lacks the gray cammo patterns that are so familiar and reminiscent of the original and other versions, but it doesn't really matter because it makes up for it in so many other ways. It has some great details and accessories. There is one other version of it that is very similar but not as good as this one in my opinion. the other one was released in a 25th anniversary comic pack with Storm Shadow. It has the gray cammo pattern. It is more similar to the first version because of that but also because of the accessories. the previous version has more traditional accessories where as the newer one has more updated accessories and more of them. There are some other differences between the 2 that have more to do with the body mold. This version has better articulation than the previous. They are both very cool, but this one seems to be more of what I would call the ultimate version of Firefly. Not to be confused with the G.I.Joe Retaliation ultimate Firefly. I would say that this version is better than that one as well. It is an odd comparison. they are both supposedly movie versions of the character, but Firefly never actually appears in The Rise of Cobra. It is among my favorites in terms of the different versions that have been produced. I would say that it is in the top 3. the other 2 being the Pursuit of Cobra version and the Retaliation version that is in the three pack, Cobra Invasion Team. To me that one is the best version to date.

I am fan of the GI Joes since the 80s. I have some figures from the 80s era and when the Rise of Cobra was release I first bought Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow from a local store. Then I came here to amazon looking for some other figures and special packs and this Firefly cross over my view. I had the 90s version and loved so much that when I saw this one, man I just got to have it... so I made my order and when I get it I was so happy and satisfied whit the content. Is the figure with the most items I had see, all the figures have one short weapon, one offensive or assault weapon and one missil shooter.
This guy has knifes, lintern, short weapon, assault weapon, glasses and well just get it and you will see that maybe THIS is the best figure you'll see from this generation.

Great figure, if you're wanting a Resolute Firefly figure, this is the guy right here. With everything you'd expect the mercenary to come with, pack and side bag for weapons and ammo, and a proper Rocket Launcher that isn't that god-awful enormous weapon that comes with the rest of the RoC figures.

This is by far the best Rise of Cobra Figure yet. So many accessories and weapons. If you are debating to get this figure, stop, go and buy it where ever you can! He actually comes with a Javelin missile system!
