Memory refused to post with both Patriot sticks installed out the package. Diagnosed one stick as DOA and second was installed with existing Samsung DDR2 800 6400 RAM and system became unstable as could be, video card crashing, system locking up and rebooting nearly every 10 minutes. Ran memory testing analysis on second stick installed, and it failed miserably while the Samsung memory was re-installed and works perfectly to this minute. Suffice to say, I am going to procure some reputable RAM from G.Skill, Cosair or OCZ. Recognizing this was "value priced" RAM is still no excuse for DOA, instability & memory chip failures. YMMV. Good luck!
