This timer works like its supposed to. A great investment as backup for no frills. Its a no-brainer,yet before blaming a timer, what about your electricity and pump, are they square?its great to be able purchase directly from the manufacturer. Delivered on time and packaged fine.i'm getting a second as backup and turned a friend on to it, who had a 200 dollar controller timer, which was nothing but extra crap to mess up a simple timing.If you don't like the 1 on 4 off fixed cycle they have an adjustable one,but to some that's more room for operator error.50 bucks, to benefit a lot of different aspects plus 25 % the power consumption of constant on.
i love this company.

So Simple, Yet So Nice!

This thing works great for what we wanted. We have an application where we needed to flush a piece of equipment for 1 minute every 12 hours. This plugs into the wall, and does just that. It even leave enough room in a duplex outlet to still use the top outlet socket for something else.

This does have 3 ways of running it. Because it has a photocell to sense if it is daytime or nightime by how much light there is. You need to program it for which mode you want it to operate in. I would have preferred dip-switches or something that couldn't change in the case of a power fault or surge, but the programming operation is very simple to do too. We haven't had any problems with the programming changing itself on us, but I worry a little about the potential of this happening.

Modes of Operation
1) Run only at nighttime.
2) Run only at daytime.
3) Run all the time and just ignore if it is day or night (how we decided to use this because it is indoors)

It is a bit on the pricey side for how simple it is to operate, but because it is basically "idiot-proof" it was worth it for the simplicity to us and keep our customer happy.

This thing is awesome and it seems to be very accurate for its timing control. The photocell works great and you can change it to work day or night and both. I can just tell its of high quality and will last for a long time. This is exactly what I needed for my grow room and I wish I had one that hooked to my wifi so I could change my settings with my phone, that would be awesome. Don't hesitate to buy this if you need a short cycle timer for co2 or for anything else. I have mine on my co2 regulator which only turns on during the day cycle of my lights and I have a cheaper co2 ppm meter and adjusted the timing to keep the ppm of about 1500ppm. I love this thing and I know you will to. Comes with long warranty also.

Great cycle timer

Easy to use, very accurate with some nice additional features. I originally purchased this to operate a pump but my mini-fridge's thermostat went out the day it arrived. I placed my refrigerator on my Apollo 12 and after a day of fiddling with the timing, was able to get the exact temperature I wanted without having to replace the thermostat (for not a whole lot less mind you).

So it looks like I will be ordering another. The photocell is a unique idea and I will probably be using it to only turn on my pump during the day. It is relatively straight forward to enable following the included instructions.

I highly recommend this timer. It may not be the cheapest thing out there but it will last you a long time.

Great aid in turning failure into success with my klone king 25-site. I was running into heat issues where the pump would gradually increase the water temperature to over 80f in an 75f ambient environment. This led to slimy buildup on my stems and almost certain failure. With the pump my temps dropped 5f, it helped.

I have no idea why this costs so much money though... seems like it should be $20
