It smells like myrrh and nothing else. I'm new at this but the oil seems of high quality and mixes easily with my chosen carrier oil.

The dropper leaves a bit to be desired on its own, but using it with a pipette stuffed into the space where the drops of oil would come out turned out to be just the trick.

This oil smells deep, earthy, and woody. There's no trace of any chemical smell at all. It seems safe to use on skin and around pets; in fact, my cat found the faint residue I got on my hand irresistible and pestered me for the better part of an hour trying to get at it.

I saw conflicting reviews about the strength of this particular variety of myrrh. This is strong as I had hoped and has a woody, leather, and earthy notes similar in a way to sandalwood. I am not a myrrh expert at all but I like this scent. I got it for the diffuser and put too much the first time, which wasn't much, and it became overwhelming. A little goes a long way. I have since also tried dabbing on as a cologne and like it for that purpose also. I look forward to exploring the other benefits of myrrh as I understand it has medicinal benefits as well.

I always remembervthev3 kings brought Christ gold,frankincense and myhrr.
Now I love to smell of frankincense, and gold is pretty nice,too but myhrr I never smelled.
I know the gold represents Christ's kingship, the frankincense his priest hood and myhrr is what Jews used to rub on dead bodies? So myhrr represents Christ's sacrifice.
But it doesn't smell good. As for healing, how to use it for that,I have no clue, but I think it is more than likely a good value because it is harder and harder to get.

I was under lots of major stress a couple of weeks ago, and I developed a huge mouth ulcer! I mixed some of this Myrrh into some olive oil as the carrier oil, and applied directly to it that night. To my amazement in just 5 mins the pain was 90 percent gone, and by the next morning it was almost gone so I applied again that morning and by that afternoon it was GONE! Just two applications! I told my friend who suffers from them regularly and then mixed her up some, no more ulcers for her either! Now I know why it was as valuable as gold back in Jesus's time.

Use it mixed with Frankinsense and Rosehip seed oil for my nightly moisturizer now instead of the expensive stuff I've used for years from the department stores. I still like Clinique moisture lotion (the yellow cream), but I use it a lot less often. I honestly can see a difference in my face and neck. I believe I look younger and healthier. I am 54 years old and I do eat healthy, but do not exercise as often as I should. I am very picky about what I put on my face.
