I had originally attempted to write a 1 star review about this product because of how it was delivered. Briefly, one of the bottles had leaked a little and it looked a lot worse than it was. After deciding to open the product and not return it, I learned that the leak was just superficial.

On to the product. I originally purchased this set to polish a couple of turntable covers for which it worked flawlessly. After polishing and treating with #3, the covers are easy to keep clean with a microfiber cloth. I then decided to try cleaning the severely fogged headlamps on my aging BMW. 10 minutes per side, by hand only, and the results were impressive! Finally, I decided to try to clean the screen of a couple of old LCD monitors with great success. My only warning is to go very easy with LCD screens as I created a couple of bright spots on one of the monitors. I will buy this again when I run out!

Very pleased to discover a number of my acrylic dust covers for my collectibles can be restored, as well as my vintage acrylic candlesticks. In the past I thought a scratch meant trash-time but not anymore. Follow the directions and test a small area because sometimes you need only the #1 or #2 bottle. Having all three means you're set for anything. Very impressive restoration results.

This is one of those products I will always have in my arsenal. Wow, this is the s***, it truly takes out scratches and makes plastic look better than new, and I mean that because new plastic usually has a bit of a matte finish (which is nice too) but after you use Novus, it makes it super glossy, it makes your stuff look wet!

I wish I knew about this product years ago cause I'm just looking for plastics in my house to use this stuff on cause it's so fun to see how it cleans up plastic and makes it shine like a mirror. What's great is that it gives a buffed out look with just your hands and without using a power tool, indispensable!

This is my first review on Amazon because I'm truly inspired from what a great product this is for plastics.

Decent Results

Bought this to clean and restore my motorcycle windshield which, after years of taking a beating from countless insects and road debris, had begun to take on a hazy appearance. From what I can tell, this is not a miracle product but is also not totally worthless. I worked my way through each bottle following the instructions shown on the informational brochure and achieved some satisfactory results. While the windshield was far from looking like new after applying the polish (some scratches and imperfections were still very much visible), there was a definite improvement in clarity. For others to get a better idea, I've uploaded a before and after photo for comparison. Would recommend this product to others but note that your mileage may vary.

Be conservative and careful

My main use was for a scratch on a book reader tablet computer. The scratch was barely visible but I could feel a catch on my fingernail when scrolling around the screen. I rubbed the number 2 fluid just in the vicinity of the scratch about a dozen times and followed with number 1. It improved the feel. So I did it again about the same amount and found that the scratch was no longer noticeable to my finger. I could still barely see the scratch when I angled the screen in the light but I was worried about a slight haze that was left. After a couple of days of use and occasional wiping with a cloth I was happy to see the haze disappear. I thought of applying the #3 fluid or repeating the #2 treatment to make the scratch totally disappear but decided to not push my luck. I then tried it on two old very scratched cheap sunglasses. One was a free vendor promotional item and the other a coated Costco brand. The free one did not have a coating and improved nicely with treatment over the whole surface. When I did the same to the Costco glasses the coating dissolved and left the whole surface wavy and the glasses totally unusable. I would not recommend using it on any surface you suspect might have a coating and for other items I would start in an inconspicuous area first and go with the #2 fluid before using the #3 fluid. I have not tried the #3 fluid on anything.

What a shame!

I was really hoping this product would work. Used Novus 1 - no luck. Moved up to Novus 2 and followed the directions to the letter. Still no improvement to the scratches on my plastic... then went to Novus 3, followed by Novus 2, as per instructions. Still no improvement. I am soooo disappointed. wish i could return it, but i did open, so no luck there. Just don't order yourself!

I bought acrylic makeup brush organizers that have hinged lids to display my brushes nicely while keeping them at easy access. Well a similar one that I bought was so nice it looked like it was crystal... But then the other ones came scuffed and scratched. I was about to return them when I read in another review that they used a plastic cleaner to clean them up. This brand had the best rating and I now know why. I think I just deleted my before and after pictures but it made a huge difference! The scuffs are now non-existent and the couple surface scratches are not noticeable unless really searching for them up close! I cut the cloth in pieces that they give you to make it last longer... But you can buy more since there is so much product in the bottle you will need more to use up the amount of product you get. It great just to clean plastic or restore scuffed/scratched plastic. Deep scratches will not disappear but cleaning them up will make it look a bit better.
