I finally look forward to fresh squeezed Lime / Lemon for the first time in my life!
I love lime. I love it in my marinades, I love it in many of my soups, too. But, I always hated squeezing my own on one of those old fashion juicers. No more! This tool is among the very best kitchen utensils I've ever owned or used next to my knives and my garlic press. This juicer is superb and will extract every bit of precious juice from your limes or lemons, even those little tiny hard barley ripe ones we so often have to settle for at the grocery store. It just works. Perios. You slice the fruit in half, open the tool, put one half of the fruit (peel side down) then close the tool and squeeze. The ratcheting feature will ensure you waste no juice at all. Then you pop it open, peel the remaining fruit off the tool and discard (or add to potpourri dish) and repeat for remaining half of fruit. Once you have all the juice you need, rinsing the tools well under the tap couldn't be easier. It now ready for the next time. It's heavy construction from high quality materials make this a fantastic tool for any kitchen. Strongly recommended!

This thing works really well. We have the smaller one for lemons and limes and found that some of the lemons we buy are too large for the smaller one and we have to trim the skin before we use it. So we bought this one for the larger lemons and oranges.

It's huge. Really, really huge. It works really well but it takes up good amount of space in a drawer. And while it's dishwasher safe, it takes up too much space in the dishwasher, so we hand wash it. It's also pretty heavy, at 1 lb, 10.9 oz./764 g.
