Love love this for my 7 year old daughter. It's Saturday Night Live and Sesame Street put together. Morgan Freeman is in there- totally young and starting out. They just don't make quality TV like this anymore.

I haven't watched these shows since I was 6, brought back some great childhood memories! One of the best shows a kid could watch, Bill Cosby, Morgan Freeman, and the rest of the cast was great also. Today's kid shows could learn a thing or two from this show.

I remember watching this as a kid. It's funny to see it again as a late 30-something parent. My 4 year old son loved it - the concepts of what they are teaching interests him. My 8 year old daughter thought it was "really weird" and likes the remake version better (fits w/her interest in preteen things). The whole concept of a show explains why my both kids ultimately will watch it. It was conceived at the same time as Sesame Street but the target audience is 2nd graders who are having trouble grasping reading and decoding concepts. So, my pre-reader likes the concepts and even though the programming is dated, it speaks more towards my second grader in terms of presentation. By the way, it may be worth watching just to see cameos from a very young Morgan Freeman, Rita Moreno, Bill Cosby, and Irene Cara.

This educational series had a huge cast including Morgan Freeman, Bill Cosby, Rita Moreno, to name a few. Glad to see this offered as not all of the newer educational children's shows are as good. You do have to keep the era in context though.

I find that many of the children's shows today have political undertones and hidden agenda's. Sometimes the humor is crass or very cynical. These classics have none of that. Very much appreciated.

Loved this show as a kid. Couldn't wait for it to come on. Now it's one of just a couple quality shows I'm introducing to my toddler. - and she LOVES it. Classic Bill Cosby -early on.

My son was loving this show, the cats not so much the music scared them. He loved the colors and puppets and stuff. We will watch again, just not with the cats near by.

I remember watching this as a kid. Now, my 6 year old daughter is honing her reading skills with the whole Electric Company cast. I can't recommend this show enough.
