Delicious and versatile - NOT organic

Be aware this is NOT organic.It's $4.50 at my local store (the only one that carries it), so this is nearly half price.I've used this brand for decades, and as a vegan, I put TVP in everything. My favorite is what we call soywiches: lightly-fried onions and garlic, chunky pasta sauce, bbq sauce, mustard, touch of nutritional yeast, lots of vinegar and seasonings, then throw in the TVP. Simmer. Add relish when done. The TVP uses the sauce to reconstitute.It also works amazingly well in a rice cooker, in desserts and snacks and all kinds of other foods. TVP takes on the taste of whatever it's cooked in, so it can go in anything - and the best part is the high-quality protein. I love Bob's Red Mill.

I love this product. I have a small vegan business. And this is the meat replacement that we use. Storage life is phenomenal from 6 to 12 years without opening package. If you leave it in the fridge I will still use it after a week up to two weeks. And have eaten it from the freezer after 3 months, and still tastes great if seasoned right. This price is a steal on Amazon. They're normally 3.99. Sometimes you can catch a discount, but not often. Amazing product.
