After reading somewhat mixed reviews i still decided to give the Kandle a try for my Kindle keyboard 3. The product itself is very good and serves my needs perfectly. I had previously bought a belkin clip on light but i didn't like that for me to not get glare i would have to position it at an angle which would then getin the way. I didn't have this problem with the kandle.
pros:
- lightweight
- small and very portable
- 2 lightbulbs (which gives a nice wide spread of light)
- can put it on thee top or even on the side of the kindle
- bright light (but not so bright that it seems unnatural)
- the clip has a soft foam material (so i don't have to worry about it scratching my kindle)
- Good grip keeps it in place
- can use it over a cover (mine has a silicone cover and it works perfectly)
- adjustable light angle
cons: like some users have stated before, the light does seem to not be completely uniform throughout the screen, but to me it's not a big deal since the difference is minimal and it doesn't really bother me. I have read in complete darkness and i can read perfectly without straining my eyes
Extra: the one thing that stood out for me the most was not just the product itself. My Kandle came with extra batteries (it already has some in so you can use it right away) and a tiny screwdriver for the tiny screw in the battery compartment when you have to change them. it also came with a small carrying pouch so you can take it anywhere while keeping it protected. These may seem like little things but to me it shows that they wanted to try hard to please their customers which is a big bonus in my book. I have tried other more expensive lights and have not been as satisfied as i am with this product.

Very good!!
Just what I needed for my Kindle 7th Gen. since it doesn’t have light to read. It adds weight to the Kindle but it’s not bothersome. The lighting is fantastic.
