Let me just start off by saying, i own black ops, Cod WaW - Mw3, as well as Battlefield 3 and Rainbow Six. And not ONE of these games could come close to this game. This game took Modern Warfare and blew it away. The games graphics both in Campaign and Multiplayer are simply gorgeous. Gameplay in either mode is smooth, and a death in Campaign takes maybe 30 - 40 seconds to reload. The level of realism in this game is mind blowing, especially when you come from playing games like CoD. I feel I could go on forever, so before I actually do, lemme break it down for you.

Campaign:

Weapons are Fully customizable, from the Trigger, to the Paint, to the Gas Chambers. First impressions of the Camo had me feeling like you would be totally unstoppable. I was wrong. While camo is on, if you get too close to an enemy, you can still be detected, also, fast movements, and shooting turn the camo off. The aiming is spot on. A simple hold on the LT (Left Trigger) will put you in 3rd person aiming. Pushing the RS (Right Stick) in, brings you into your Iron Sights or any attachment you may have there. Whle in Iron Sights, it may take a couple days to get used to the realistic kick of each weapon. As a full burst may leave you shooting the air. However, i have never personally experienced that, because i usually use short round bursts. Which brings me into the next topic. They have available triggers that add 3-Round burst, Semi-Auto, Full-Auto. The gadgets are pretty cool, and add a futuristic feel to it, without being much of a game changer. Gadgets are explained before missions, and a walkthrough will pop up in the mission when you first use a gadget, so there should be no cofusion on how to use them.

Multiplayer:

Again, weapons are fully customizable. Your character can be customized, to a certain extent. You have 3 classes you start with, and 3 more to unlock at later levels. Scout, Engineer, and Rifleman. Scout is a Sniper class, low armor, camo, and have protection from Heat detectors. Engineer is a CQB (Close Quarter Combat) class. Moderate armor, has a "Scope Detector" which alerts you to someone scoped in and aiming at you, uses Shotguns and PDR (Personal Defense Rifles). Rifleman is an assault type class, equipped with Assault Rifles and LMG's (Light Machine Gun), has heavy armor for maximum defense. Multiplayer Factions are, of course, the Ghosts, and the not-so-known Bodarks. Factions have different weapons available to them, but have the same attributes and gadgets as a ghost. The maps are well made, have a real feel, and plenty of cover. For killing, Headshots tend to be 2 or maybe 3 shots. Body shots are different per class, as they have different armor, and shots could range from 5 - 7. Modes are Conflict, Decoy, Saboteur, and Siege.

Conflict - basically TDM (Team Deathmatch) with different objectives randomly added into the fray, which adds sort of a firefight zone.

Decoy - TDM but with 3 objectives for the assault team. However, 2 of these objectives are decoy objectives where as one is the real objective. Defenders never know which one is the real objective and which 2 are the decoys. Match is best out of 3.

Saboteur - TDM with a bomb in the middle of the map. Teams must try to secure, transport, and detonate the bomb at the enemy base. Team to detonate wins. Teamwork Actions such as spawning on a teamate, determine tie breakers.

Siege - Search and Destroy type objective. One objective, defenders spawn 10 seconds before attackers to get time to set up. *WARNING* if you go too far from the IMMEDIATE objective area, before the attackers spawn, the game will KILL you off before they spawn. Best out of 3 determines winners.

Guerilla:

Wave by Wave survival. From the one match of this I played, you must defend an HQ (Headquarte) from an enemy onslaught. As this was the first mode I played when I unboxed, I made it to round 5 before dieng. I do now know if there is an end to the mode, but for the most part I feel there isnt. From wave to wave you get plenty of time to re-supply and do whatever you must. If you survive multiple waves in a row, you gain wave bonuses, like, for instance, Camo for your character for 30 seconds. You can get any gadget you get in Campaign as far as I am aware. This is the only Co-op splitscreen part of the game. It is online as well.

This wraps up my review of what I could easily call the greatest war video game made to date. However I feel obliged to state my only flaw about the game. They did not add any type of Bullet drop into the game. the Bullets travel directly where they are aimed. Where this may be a plus for some, This is not for me, as it takes away a certain realistic aspect of the games sniping/ firefights. Other than that SMALL little thing. This game was Flawless. I may just give away CoD and Battlefield. Easily this game would get a 5/5 for me. I hope you all like it as much as myself.

I pre-ordered this game and have played at least 10 hours on it, have gotten pretty far in the campaign (although it will not let me progress to the next level even though I have beat the previous level 3 times now). Personally I enjoy it quite a bit. The game play is wonderful. The cover system is great, there is a system on the game that allows you to quickly move from cover to cover in the quickest way possible. The controls are good but take some getting used to. The fellow Ghost AI is for the most part smart and will listen to you. There are also challenges in each level in the campaign and by completing these challenges it unlocks different guns and attachments you can use throughout the campaign. Also gunsmith is a excellent part of the game. There is a lot of customization that goes into your weapon. From changing the optics, to changing the barrel length of your weapon, plus you can quickly jump to the fire range and test fire your weapons to see the adjustments you have made then jump back to change your weapon again. You can really feel the difference made by editing your weapon. But this is not a perfect game, it lacks some key components including match making for co-op and guerrilla mode. Plus some of the facial graphics are lacking in comparison to your character. Not to mention some of the back grounds are plain, the game could have used some polishing on the visuals. Also, I was a little disappointed by the lack of customization on your character in multiplayer. I was hoping for a Rainbow 6 approach to this, but instead you can only change what they are wearing on their face. This is a huge step down from Rainbow 6 where you could completely customize everything they were wearing. But for the most part this game is very enjoyable. If you enjoy third person shooters this is the game for you.

Update:
I have just finished the campaigned as of last night and I must say the campaign is a lot of fun it just gets repetitive over time. I do not think I would play it again by myself. But I have been playing a lot more multiplayer and I must say the multiplayer is awesome. Best part of the game. The game is insanely strategic and if you have a good squad it makes it that much better. As a team you have to communicate to take objectives and without doing so, the game is not too much fun. It is hard to be a one man army like various other shooters. You can die quickly and you have to keep the running and gunning to a minimal to be successful. Overall I am happy I bought this game.

I bought this game with some high expectations. Perhaps that was my problem as the game kind of fell short in that regard. The graphics are incredible, and the kinect movement is kinda nifty, but it just didn't wow me.
