I loved this product in the beginning, but after months of use I started noticing a lot of problems. I will not be trying these again in the future.
First, the plastic wrapping comes off so easily. I've found tampons loose in my purse without the wrapper because the plastic ripped just sitting around in a pocket all by themselves.
Second, i only have about a 70% success rate getting these bastards inside of myself. The 'clicked' position doesn't always stay, so when you try to insert, it collapses on itself. But it does it in such a way that the tampon is halfway pushed through, so it's not like you can just start over with the same one.
Third, and most important, these stupid defective pieces of crap leave bits of cotton behind. I've been having off periods for a few months now, and lo and behold, it's because I had a literal wad of lost cotton that worked it's way up to my cervix. I'm so thankful I'm infection free, or this would be a bigger deal, but SERIOUSLY. You could be getting tss if you're not careful with these things. I've never had the same problem with any other tampon, even othe ones by tampax. Maybe I got a batch that was just no good, but I bought 4 boxes of the 36 pack, so I've got a desperate level of buyers remorse.

These compak tampons elongate when they expand (vs. getting fatter), and they actually caused a lesion...seems very dangerous, and I wonder if the company is aware of this. Also the wrapper on all of these Tampax Compaks totally S*CK. They rip open very easily, so if you're carrying one in a pocket or even a purse (which is kind of the whole point of a compact tampon, isn't it?) the wrapper rips open and your once-clean tampon is now sullied. Major design flaw there. I will no longer buy the compak version of these.
