Product Description

With the look of an assault rifle and lightweight construction for ease of use, this accessory allows gamers to get down on the floor in full sniper pose and wreak havoc in their favorite first-person shooter games, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and Call of Duty: World at War, and all other shooter games. Designed with modern warfare in mind, the Assault Rifle's trigger functions as the R1 button for realistic "reaction" game-play. Each OEM Sony PlayStation controller button is represented on the Assault Rifle, including the D-pad, PS button, start and select buttons, and clickable thumb sticks for strafing, running, steadying the weapon, and exploring the game environment. Gamers can pull the trigger with one hand and press the controller buttons with the other to shoot enemy combatants and move through the gaming environment. The Rifle comes with a removable scope and stock. The Assault Rifle also features a built-in speaker with realistic sound effects that can be turned on and off for a fun game play experience. By pulling the trigger, the Rifle emits single shot, three-shot burst, and fully automatic sound effects to complement the on-screen action that can be activated even when the Rifle isn't synced with the PlayStation 3. Setting up the Rifle is as easy as pushing a button. Gamers simply plug in the USB dongle key to their PlayStation 3 units and then press the home button on the Rifle for wireless synchronization. Four LED lights display controller port selection. The Rifle is powered with two AA batteries and has an on/off switch to conserve power. Each package includes the Assault Rifle controller, USB dongle key, scope, and stock.

Well I must say like everyone else that I am disapointed with the rifle you can't Aim with crosshairs with the tip of the gun you aim anywhere down up cross ways and use you tumb to aim well I'm trying to aim anyway hoping my reflexes kick in when I bought this gun I thought it would work right after watching the video it seems he moved the crosshairs with the tip of the gun so I feel kind of stupid, I hope they can fix the problem, it dose feel good to have a gun in your hand but I wish I could aim it for real.
Well I did some modifications to the gun and its ok now I cut the barrel so I can aim at center of the screen better I think if you leave your gun pointed at the center and move with your finger its ok takes a little bit getting use to but notting is easy in gaming and it feels great I've been really playing well in online play next I need to fix that scope and I think its better to have a controller shaped like a gun than have a gun on your screen and none in your hand so try this its great see you online (scitice12) watch out the sci is falling well huh huh well i've gotten much better with the gun and i'm even being banded from games for being to good and causing players to leave online games, so people talk bad about the gun but they can't face it i think its a good experience to feel whats its like to carry a gun into battle its not easy pointin from the side it can make ur hand tierd good thing its not no heavier look take a gun into battle not a joypad i want everybody to experience this rifle you will never go back to (joypad) i'm not....

It's cool, but I guess I thought it would be like a Duck Hunt kind of gun, which it's not. And the scope is pointless. I got it on sale for $25, and I'd say it's worth about that. Don't pay more for it, it's really not worth it. It's already sitting in my closet, likely to never be used again.

This Assault Rifle Controller is awesome to look at but nobody wants to use it..... even me who just bought it and don't find it useful for the game. Tried it and would much rather use the regular controller. Everybody picks it up and wants to aim and use it, but when I tell them it doesn't do what you expect it to, we all just put it up or play with it as an expensive toy that makes sounds......
Totally not what I expected but I'm deployed where all of us play multiplayer games to pass the time, so I'm not going to send it back but give it to my son when I see him so he can trash it. Maybe use it for halloween but you can go to walmart and pay for something cheaper. This controller should cost $10.00

Don't waste your money on this Toy Video Gun. It's just a BIG Controller. I was under the impression that I could just point and shoot, NOT the case. The Gun is a nice concept, but really useless. Not too mention that it does not work with ALL games. It only works with FPS games. I gave mine away after a week to my Seven year old nephew.

I can't understand the purpose of this item. You buy gun controller for the realism and fun of actually pointing at a target and shooting it, at least thats why I (as well as everyone I know) would. This gun is pretty much useless unless you get the one for playstation move (and that is only compatible with move games, not Call of Duty). It does not matter where you point the gun because you still have to use the joystick to aim. This is simply a standard remote in the shape of a gun and buttons scattered all around it.

Absolutely a waste of time and money. Just a controller. No point to aim technology.

Good thing I found all this out before opening the package. RETURNING IT!

Oh. if your looking for a gun for the PS3 that is compatible with call of duty and others like it. I could only find one but it will ship from hong kong and cost you $200+. that sucks. This experience gave me ample amounts of appreciation for the original gray and orange pistol for NES. DUCK HUNT BABY!!
