I never thought I would spend $40 on a mouse for a computer, but after going through about 7 cheap ones, I decided it was time to invest in a good high quality mouse not just for me, but really more for my business. I work from home which means I spend A LOT of time on my computer. With two toddlers, the more wireless stuff I have, the better. The color of this mouse is perfect for me. It's not too bright and not too dull. It doesn't take much battery power, in fact, I have had it for over a year and I just recently had to change the batteries for the first time. With the other mouses (mice?) I have had, the piece in the middle you use to scroll always came loose after a week or two and would stop working. I don't have that problem with this mouse which is extremely nice. The clickers (sorry for my bad terminology) work just as well as they did when I first got them. I do have to say that the sensor is very sensitive. With some of the other mouses I have had, I don't need a mouse pad, but with this one, I can't use it directly on my computer desk. I have to have something under it, so since I don't have a mouse pad and haven't gotten around to buying one, I just use a piece of paper and it works just fine. Overall spending $40 on this mouse might have seemed a little much at first, but after having it hold out strong for over a year and not having to buy a replacement every month or two, I have saved money in the end and I still love this mouse as much as I did when I first got it! A great purchase indeed!

After 3 years if daily use, my last Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse finally started acting up. It had been dropped on hard floors one too many times, so it was stuck constantly trying to double click everything. I could no longer use the mouse to copy and paste. It would jump pages constantly when I clicked on links. The mouse had taken years of constant use and just a bit too much abuse, so it was time for a new one.

Since my last Logitech M305 work so well, I decided to get another of the same model. There are at least a dozen different colors available in this mouse and this Indigo Scroll is beautiful. It's a medium-dark blue color with white cursive writing on it. It has just the slightest iridescent sparkle to it.

Simple to set up, you just plug in the USB adaptor and turn on the mouse. The driver is in the mouse and it installs in just seconds without any prompting or need of going through any set up. Inside the mouse's battery compartment, there is a little slot where you can store the tiny USB adaptor when not in use.

The battery life on these mice is very good. Easily months of use before needing changed. It takes a single AA battery. There is an on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse to save battery life when your not using it. The M305 is a quality mouse that can take a lot of use and keep on working.

Perfect Size for Me

I needed a replacement for the mouse that we purchased when we got our laptop. The previous mouse would run out of battery every few days - I was always careful and turned it off when I logged off, so it was a surprise to me that the batteries wouldn't last long.

This mouse appealed to me because it looked nicely shaped and had decent reviews; I always read the reviews and aim to purchase the highest rated items.

This mouse is the perfect size for my hands; my son says it's too small for him but I remind him that it's my mouse. I've had it for a while and have no problems with the battery. I put in a different battery than the one that came with it. I'm still turning it off whenever I log off. Happily, the battery has been working for over a month!

It does the basic scroll and right click and left click. That's all I need. I'm very happy with my pink mouse.

Logitech M305 Wireless Mouse

I bought my Logitech mouse quite a while ago (almost a year now) and just decided to write a review. I don't like to jump the gun and write a review in a week as that doesn't give anybody a good idea of how well a product holds up. I have been through a few other generic brands that didn't hold up well at all. Probably my fault, as my mouses tend to fall off the couch or table more than I should allow them to. So, I decided to spend a few extra dollars and get a name brand. What a difference it is and a great choice! The Logitech has been dropped or slipped off the surface more times than I can count, and it is still working like a charm. I even use it on my work laptop when I bring it home. Both computers recognize it fine and it works great. I've changed the battery probably four times already, but that's probably because I always forget to shut it off. I'm happy with the product and highly recommend it! In fact, I just ordered one for my son for Christmas and got him the exact same model. Different color though as mine is pink:-)

A Great Alternative to Corded Mice

I had always had a corded mouse and in fact my sister still uses a corded one. I have been using wireless mice for over a year and have no intention of going back to one with a cord. I had purchased two of the same model but the other was my favorite color, purple. It was good I also ordered this lovely green one as the purple one stopped working so this one took over and is still working. It did take a long while for me to get into the habit of turning it off to converse the battery but it helps it only uses one AA battery. It performs just as well as my corded one but without the hassle of having the cord get stuck on something so I then have to unstick it before proceeding. With this one that doe snot happen. Should yo purchase one, I do suggest you either tape the little USB to the mouse or find some place for it if you want to use a different mouse for some reason. But I definitely recommend this for its beautify and performance.
