As MST3k is sort of a show within a show within a movie format, I like to review the sections of each episode in order to give it a final rating.

The movie: My parents were wrong as they told me Santa and Satan were the same person. Not true! One of the most bizarre Christmas movies ever made sets the record straight. You see Santa actually lives on a space ship and has to fight Pitch the devil (who wears his leotards proudly) each Christmas with the help of the children of the world and mechanical reindeer. Or something like that. I was too stunned to fully understand this bizarro version of Christmas.

I seriously cannot even begin to explain how creepy and, well, unChristmas like this movie is. I would advise not to let kids watch this movie as they will run in fear the next time they see Santa at the mall.

Host Segments: The best!! The gifts - the caroling - Mike's family. Every one works - do not skip!

Riffs: The first ten minutes of them riffing and ripping the kids-of-the-world Christmas song is worth the price of admission. And it only gets better. By far one the better riff efforts.

Overall: Bizarre movie - check. Great segments - check. Kids singing a song that is even more annoying and longer than "It's a Small World" - check. Watch it!

Stumbled across this on Netflix, and bought it Amazon. Classic MST3K. One of the very best!
And so politically INCORRECT! American kids are shown as cowboys, and every other ethnic group similarly depicted.

This particular episode is one of my favorites and a definite must see. And if your able to watch this with a group of people I highly recommend you do so. The snide comments are timed so perfectly as expected with the cast of MST3K but with this movie the jokes are truly clever.

This is the holiday film of choice at our house, perhaps save for the Star Wars Holiday Special.

This movie is just so horrific and bizarre that it needs to be seen. From the nightmarish anamatronics, to the satan/santa parallels, to the long opening song with the hilariously misguided cultural children of the world, to the main man himself Santa, this is a hit.

This is less a holiday film than it is a fever dream of a mad man. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say you'll be surprised where this film goes. It's also less a holiday movie than it is an epic battle of good vs. evil. And it's not a great movie for the kids, as least not as a legitimate watching, just because of how weird and nonsensical it ultimately becomes.

The riffing on this episode is top notch. They perfectly encapsulate the weirdness of it all, while managing to make it all the more hilarious.

Really, I don't want to get too far into what this movie actually is, since it really needs to be seen to be believed. Basically, if you are at all interested, then seriously check it out. It's a ton of fun to watch, and you'll be enlightened just by how weird it is.

This movie is terrible, which makes it perfect for our boys in outer space.MST3K is their only hope!

So much crap; so little time! Who would have ever thought that it was possible to elicit even a chuckle from this unbelievably horrid waste of celluloid, much less cause you to rewind because you were laughing so hard, you missed something! I freely admit that MST3K isn't everybody's cup of tea, but if it's yours, your cup runneth over! Long live Joel, Mike, Dr. F., T.V.'s Frank, and the bots. Thank you for keeping this series of gems alive. MYSTY's forever!

At the time this movie was made, 'Santa Claus' wasn't well-known in Mexico, hence the weirdness. Santa and his bizarre little world are straight-up nightmare fuel for very young children, and the stereotyped child-slaves are insulting in addition to disturbing. I can only suppose that creative and helpful fairy-folk weren't/aren't common in Spanish-speaking nations (or weren't neutered into Santa elves).

The riffing, as usual, improves the movie.

Bizarrely weird in a weirdly bizarre way. This is Santa as imagined during one of those fever-induced hallucinations. The MST3K crew gleans more than a little humor from this nightmare. Santa even plays a waiter serving drugged cocktails to a rich couple who left their son home alone (") to celebrate Christmas dreaming of parents. Santa, demons, bad boys, good girls and hot doorknobs. This big helping of Mexican cilantro has it all.

We laughed, we cried,well....almost...it has become a part of...our life long nightmares about Santa clause...it also has some blatent political statements.slightly hidden in the kinda awkward, kinda disturbing dialog..see if you can catch them too...and the host crew are in TOPForm...so....if you are looking for something...a little different..from the usual sappy yuletide flick..you have found it...here...- worth a watch.👍
