Ken and his saddle pals are appointed sheriffs after Charlie and his thugs steal their horses. They spend much of the movie trying to crack an elaborate bank robbery scheme being attempted by Hooper's gang. In one memorable scene, Charlie tries to break Tarzan. After being bucked off, he commences to whip the poor animal! In a rage, Tarzan breaks loose and chases Charlie into a miner's shack.

Best Horseman, among the old time stars. Tim McCoy another one. Along with Hoot Gibson.
Tom Mix had his moments of misadventures shall we say with "Tony". Ken Maynard loved
his Tarzan. You could tell by the interactions between the two of them. He trusted Ken. And
it was obvious. Ken was not the best actor. But he certainly one of the best people on screen.
Completely believable.
