If you know what a Verizon Wireless Extender is and happen to be reading the review on this product, you probably need this product.

In my case, the Wireless Extender's supplied antenna stopped working. I checked continuity and the antenna connector wasn't making a connection with the antenna. Saw the connector on the antenna was SMA, so I went searching for a replacement antenna. This Wilson antenna fits the bill perfectly.

So far, MUCH improved performance with this antenna and it doesn't seem anywhere near as fragile as the OEM antenna it replaces. I've not done any major testing on it yet, but I can confirm the range is indeed improved from the OEM antenna. I also have the larger mag-mount antenna on order and will provide a review/comparison when I get it in.

One note: This antenna is a "mobile" antenna and is expecting to be stuck to something metal as a ground plane. If you fail to put this on some large piece of metal (like a filing cabinet), expect poor performance. Wilson recommends 3" or so for this antenna, but I'd say you want at least 6" on metal around it for best performance.

4G LTE MAX WeBoost compatible antenna, works great for when your just outside the normal coverage area, but if you're out in the middle of nowhere then I'd recommend the bigger/longer antenna. Works great for those metal-bodied vehicles. For Ford Pickups (aluminum bodied) I'd recommend getting strong Velcro and cutting each side to about 1.5x1.5" for the base (truck side) and about 1x1" for the bottom of the antenna.
