I purchased this to make pale pink candies to top cupcakes for a first birthday party. The theme was ‘A Poodle in Paris’. I used some leftover vanilla almond bark that I had in my kitchen, & tinted it with some pink gel frosting tint. I like to melt my candies in a double boiler, add the coloring, & then spoon the mixture into a candy pouring bottle. I place my mold on a cookie sheet, fill it, & gently tap it on the counter to remove air bubbles. I place the cookie sheet in the fridge for 20 minutes, & the candies released from the mold easily. I stored them in an airtight container until ready to use. The cupcakes were the hit of the party! If you found this review helpful, please vote helpful. I used the mold for my sister in law’s birthday party. It came out perfect with any complications trying to remove them from the mold. I made quite a lot of towers out of candy melt and place them on top of mini cheesecakes.

Detailed & Cupcake Sized - Dust them for detail!

Works great! Lots of detail and the perfect size for cupcake toppers. I would definitely recommend dusting them with a light color so you can see the detail. I brushed on edible gold dust and they turned out perfect.
