In Season 2 of the much-loved drama, family life grows infinitely more complex for the Walker clan as growing challenges, fundamental changes, and new revelations place burdens on the siblings' relationships. Each celebration, each adversity, each episode is a reminder to all that family is everything.
This show when it first came out was really cutting edge. It addressed a wide variety of post 9/11 american family issues and situations. IT addressed them in a very dramatic and intelligent way - and drew the audience in to the unfolding weekly drama. Some things were probably over-sensationalized, but that's hollywood for you. I loved being drawn in and even having my own beliefs challenged and confronting my own prejudices and overcoming them.
