Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman

4 Seasons

Season 4
4.8 out of 5 stars (34) IMDb 6.8/10

Say "I do" to all the adventure and fun of the final season! Lois Lane and Clark Kent saved the best for last. In their final season, they finally get married. But they face a few roadblocks along the highway to marital bliss: a worlds-at-war battle with Lord Nor; an adventure-packed encounter with the Wedding Destroyer, who believes folks are better dead than wed; and even wedding-night interruptus compliments of time-traveling H.G. Wells. But before the honeymoon commences, all 22 fourth-season episodes zing with Lois & Clark's action/comedy blend! A multitude of baddies - ghosts, aliens, deranged scientists and bizarre criminal geniuses - power up the excitement. A multitude of guest stars - Drew Carey, Harry Anderson, Delta Burke and more - power up the laughs. Time to fly...and say goodbye!

I have always felt that Superman was an almost impossible hero to write for. I mean what do you do with a God like hero with almost no faults or weaknesses other than a little green rock.

Here's the thing that keeps us coming back. Lois Lane. He is an alien among humans, and who among us hasn't felt like that. His attachment to her is what makes him human, vulnerable, and accessable. So, Superman has always been and always will be, a love story. Lois and Clark made everyone realize that. Superman is almost a secondary character. Its about him and her and the sacrifices they both have to make to realize a great love. The fact that this is what the story is really about, and not the earth's protector fighting space aliens angle makes this show endearing and with a heart. Its a bit campy now and then, but for the most part its about two people who believe in the best of the human condition, and that belief and its major manifestation, the love of man and woman on display, make this a show that will live on, long after its cast members have passed on, for the heart that they left in this telling of this great tale.

This season is the only one I own. I love that Lois knows Clark's true identity and the episodes that build to finally getting married. My favorite episode is where Lois has lost her memory and falls for her doctor. It shows the loving sweet side of Clark how jealous he becomes when he senses losing Lois forever. I never was a big fan of the show nor found Dean Cain all that hot. However, these episodes shows the warmth, tenderness and sensitivity that make Clark a dream come true. Schmaltzy fantasy I know . . . but it is how I feel nonetheless.

I watched this series with my girls, during it's original run. Now I watch it again, in syndication, with my grand daughter. I'm 53, she's 9 and it still has the same magic it did, in the beginning. It has everything; an epic love story, the hero, the damsel, evil villains, the good guys always win, humanity and vulnerability. I could go on, but you get the point. It has one fault; it didn't last nearly long enough and where did the baby come from? Ok, that makes two, who's counting.

I really enjoyed watching Lois & Clark : The New Adentures of Superman when it was on television in the 90"s and it's even more fun to watch it now. Seeing the characters go through their daily lives and really getting to know them, even if it's just a show it was made all the more exciting when the title characters fell in love and eventually married. The fourth and final season was the best of all and I wish the're could have been more seasons. The're is a saying that 'All good things must come to an end"this show had an amazing end. Thank you for making this show as fun and exciting for us all and Long Live Superman

I was a real fan of the Superman comics, then Chistopher Reeves because of the accident and that was when he became a real life hero along his wife.
Already a fan I thought This series was well done and stayed within the Superman genre. I really enjoyed every episode. Dean Cain was the right actor for the role.
