This was a great soap opera. The stories where a little short and fast but if you get the entire series and watch it from beginning to end it is a great Weekend watch. lol I am so upset that they have canceled the show.

I love this show, because in the world we live in people just don't do all they can for you; but Jada you did it, you would always go out of your way to help people, and followed through until the end. That is the way the world should be, not just people you know but people in general. I love watching Hawthorne and I wish it would stay on longer. I will (God's will) watch it ALWAYS. This show was the reason I got cable. I did without cable for 2 years and I saw this advertisting and said ok, I am going to try it and I loved it. Thanks TNT for giving me something to enjoy.

Season 1 was great! Season 2 was okay. Season 3 was terrible. The series started going downhill when it became less about the medicine and more about the drama. I mean, it's okay for a medical DRAMA to have some focus on the lives of the characters, but when the a medical drama becomes more about the characters' drama and affairs, instead of about the medicine and the patients, it's time to cancel it. I guess that's why there were only three seasons. Very disappointing.

I tried to keep up with this show, while it was on TNT, but the "powers that be" kept moving the show to different days and hours, and I couldn't keep up. Then the show was cancelled. So, I decided to purchase the series, and my husband and I were instantly hooked. We watched the first season and the second season all in one evening. Jada and the supporting cast really delivers. This show should still be on the air for all to enjoy.

I know this show is no longer on the air but I have been enjoying it via Amazon's Instant Videos for Prime members. The first season was excellent - I loved the way the show illustrated the compassion of the nurses while dealing with many realistic situations. I couldn't wait to start Season 2. Now on the 4th episode and I am highly disappointed. So far the show has been focusing on romance between the actors instead of what made it great last season. It now feels more and more like a soap opera. I found myself skipping many of the romantic scenes during the 3rd and 4th episodes. Now I know why it only survived one more season. I will try to stick with it a little longer. But I am really tired of seeing Tom in every scene with Christina and now her daughter "volunteers" at the same hospital. As large as most hospitals are, it is amazing that the daughter gets to work so closely with her mom which also happens to be the same area where the daughter's boyfriend works too. Not sure why the writers felt it was necessary to cram all the characters into every scene. I just hope the writers go back to dealing with health-related issues and leave the romance to the soap operas.

I love HawthoRNe! I work an odd schedule so I have only seen a few episodes here and there of the first and second season. I bought the second season and watched the entire season in 2 days! I don't care what the critic's say, I love HawthoRNe and can't wait to see season 3. I will have my daughters tape it for me on DVR.

This has got to be one of the worst hospital to I have ever had the misfortune to see on television. The characters are annoying in their self-indulgent attitudes, their total disregard for proper treatment of patients and their idiotic running about. There are so many violations of hospital policy and the law none of these people should keep their jobs or be allowed to roam the streets. What about all of the other people that need help? Just because Nurse Perfect as a cause everyone else should wait? I'm surprised it lasted more than one season. These people are a train wreck. Having worked in a hospital in seeing the real professionals I work with this show does a disservice to good healthcare workers. It paints them as petty, self-indulgent, emotional wrecks and incapable of maintaining a professional demeanor. All I can say about the show going off the air is good riddance to bad rubbish.
