Starts off with a bit of a sob story (kind of adds to the fluff, but is unnecessary in a pure "how-to" book. Don't have to convince us that it works; we already bought it). Goes into goal-setting, which I guess is a good thing to keep motivated

Internal Game
o Good for motivating guys with self-esteem issues to show what's possible

Early Game
o Suggests a bunch of re-frames to get over any sort of approach anxiety
o Actually gives you lines to use (which aren't the best, but get you out there and talking)

Middle Game
o Some of the advice is kind of gimmicky (fake palm read, anyone?) But in general, is pretty sound. At this point, she's out here alone with you, so she likes you. Act normal, push for as much as you can get, but have the awareness not to push too far.

Late Game
o Sound advice. Goes into a lot of detail for those who may not know what they're doing, but for those who do, it may be a little too much structure. At the end of the day, if you're in her bedroom and she's not trying to get rid of you, you're good. Just don't be too eager - you have all the time in the world.

End Game
o Goes into some relationship stuff, sticking points, picking up in different venues, and what to do in different situations... just stuff that didn't fit into the other chapters
o Haven't tried out everything he mentions, but if it's on point with the rest of the book, it should be good advice again

Overall
Good book, sound advice. A little fluff here and there, but that's what makes a book a good read. If you take that stuff out, you get a strict how-to book. That wouldn't take up much space because picking girls up is easy with a bit of practice - which Roosh highly advocates.

I do not believe in drawn out reviews, especially on a shopping site where people mostly just glance at the average rating, so here's the gist of it - Bang is a great book for men having trouble standing on their own two feet when it comes to not only picking up women, but socializing in general, even though the focus is clearly on the former, the latter is more a matter of subtext.

The book is easy to follow, doesn't dwell too deep into the (initially) unimportant psychological and biological reasoning behind the presented tactics but rather gets right down to the practical parts, which is essential for people who are "new to the business".

However, it's not all sunshine and roses. I personally found the final part concerning activities in bed to be, for the most part, unnecessary and poorly written. Most notably, the part related to putting on a condom made me raise my eyebrow several times as the cheesiness levels skyrocketed.

Those are only minor gripes though, and don't devalue the information and tactics contained in the rest of the book. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely a fun and informative read.
I don't agree with all the strategies and suggestions like the strawberry game. But it gives a kind of benchmark place to start and advises to be dynamic for your own situations. Unfortunately I haven't been able to practice approaches as the book suggests but armed with the insights the book gives, I'll certainly be more confident to do so.....

Like most people, I fell into the PUA world after reading The Game by Neil Strauss. Though that book provided an entertaining synopsis of the PUA life, it was no help for an individual like me who knew nothing about dealing with women. After much research, I found out about roosh and began to investigate. HIs blog, forum, and books, helped me immensely, and continue to do so. Bang provides an excellent guide for the beginner. For someone like me who had never even really visited a club, let approached a woman, this guide gave me the motivation and the tools to successfully achieve the kind of success I could have only dreamed of ... The book provides excellent material to use when interacting with women, what to say, what not to say, how to act, etc. I would highly recommend . . . .

I"ve also begun to read The Mystery Method. Though it's pretty, I feel that it's too technical, but it's a good book to get into AFTER having read bang.

This book was a great purchase that gives you practical steps to meeting and bedding women. Roosh has a very easy to read writing style that is both humorous and enjoyable. He maintains an excellent blog at RooshV.com, an active Twitter feed where you can keep abreast of his world travels, and a well moderated forum for international players. Bang really is the first book in a series that progresses into Day Bang, and succinct cultural guides on banging foreign women (such as Bang Iceland and Don't Bang Denmark). Each work is functional as a stand alone work in their own area of expertise, but I highly recommend checking out the rest of "the series."
